I'm so glad you watched these. I /knew/ from the thumbnails bad things were happening. But refused to watch them so they wouldn't get the ad revenue. And you're so right - we all got a little bit stupider
I've watched this guy start out as a DIYer, a few years back. He sent shivers down my back with the absolute most dangerous use of tools. I've made comments to him to please practice some sort of safety. Only to find out his webcast has gotten bigger and more dangerous because he has more powerful tools, such as a lathe, band saws, welders, etc. But still makes my skin crawl watching him work. BTW, I watch Lift Arc Studios all the time. Great show!
I just want to point out to your audience that the 5 finger scale isn't the scale you want to hear your Dr use. You never want to hear your Dr say your getting all five fingers.
i recently purchased a £70 cordless strimmer / brush cutter, this 4 lb weight machine came with 3 blade options, plastic blades, a steel butterfly blade, and the last blade was a circular saw blade, the saw blade easily goes through a 1" branch
Always great to see more videos from Tay and the gang. What where they thinking. 😮. Crazy. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friends. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge lit. Keep Making. God bless.
I already know I'm in for several cringes by the title. I HATE "life hacks" because of how dangerous they are. I KNOW you're gonna demolish them. You got a like from me and I haven't even seen a second of the video. Edit: I just saw the "wood chipper". I have a question for God. I NEED TO KNOW WHY YOU ALLOWED THIS MAN TO BE BORN!
There are people who have channels who want to show how clever they are. And there are ignorant people out there who respond to it with high praise, even though they will never do anything that they will use these “tools”. So they get validation from these responses. I’d like to know the speed of that motor used for the pvc angle grinder. Often drill motors run at 25,000 rpm while a disk of that size are usually rated at about 13,000. So, what is that motor, and how fast does it go. That disk can fly apart.
First! Although, there is one comment but it is hidden. A nibbler is not the same as a shear, as it punches or nibbles at the material. My dad bought a Milwaukee nibbler in the 90's to cut sheet aluminum and it makes these nasty little crescent shaped pieces of metal that get stuck in the bottom of shoes very easily. They are quite sharp. The edge of the sheet ends up rough as well, but it does not bend the sheet. Luckily, he bought parts to build a cnc plasma table in the 2000's and I ended up building and finishing the table with his help. These videos were quite dumb.......dumber than taking the guard off an angle grinder. I will stick to building or buying higher end purpose made tools. HF can shove a broken death wheel where the sun doesn't shine. The makita $50+ 4" grinder is better than using HF crap for light work. My Milwaukee 5" variable speed angle grinder was probably $150 when bought 22 years ago. If it dies and I can't fix it (already replaced the speed control with the last one I could locate in the USA) I will go with makita, dewalt, or metabo, in a 6" size. This video was boring and kind of stupid, definitely not the kind of boring that Curtis from CEE does, so it got a thumbs down, but I do appreciate you making content and have enjoyed some of your other videos. May you keep all your toes and fingers attached to your body! Cheers!
Apparently you guys don't have anything better to do! Better get the sales department out there finding you some work! ..LOL this is ridiculous but your commentary is outstanding. well done boys!
I'd like to see you two "semi-professionals" make some fabricated device out of an angle grinder (dangerous or not) maybe you could have a build-off and have someone that you respect give you a finger rating too 😁
One REAL product out there is a wire wheel attachment for a weed eater. I can’t even imagine what you’d wear that would protect you from flying metal spikes….
How to spend at least twice the money on parts than the tool costs, besides hours of labor, to make a tool that's somehow less safe than a comparable item from Wish...
Damn, You are me 30 years removed. Is that a Red Dwarf sticker on your confuser? Rimmerworld.... You need a "Not to be opperated by Fuckwits" sticker on there. Keep it up and keep your digits or youl'll have to jack off with your feet.... Well some of us anyway.... Ave's greatest quote...
There is a good chance angle grinder lawnmower man was also in the nip. Safety sandflies we’re all he wore before his untimely death. By the way, in Ireland we would call these people fecking eejits. Ye can have that phrase if ye want, might be handy for future eejit video reviews.
They make cheap ass tools so that you don't have to do this, I don't understand, just don't. On the flip side you have guys like "made in Poland" who makes some truly amazing stuff that definitely won't kill you, unless that was the intention.
Sorry to say this but watching you guys react to this is actually funny. The fact that people are broke enough to make hack videos to get a few views at the risk of others is a bit sad. Can't wait for round two....perhaps some Scotch is in order for that one?
All but one comment was rational…I happen to go to a better place when I listen to Jimmy. That was unnecessary, in my humble, or maybe not so humble opinion. How many people have achieved the status (and wealth) of the Parrot Heads idol? Buffett changed life for millions, for the better. If you really want some material, there are how to videos with dirt floor workshops where they pour molten metal, then put it into lathes made a century ago, and weld (sometimes ) using cardboard shields. And the shit actually seems to operate! Definitely not OSHA approved practices….
Is this a great example of why people shouldn't be messing with viruses? Or other deadly pathogens that could wipe out human life on the planet? Just because a thing can be done doesn't mean it should be.
sooooo stupid. my god it angers me to see idiots put together videos and calling them hacks when they are in actuality VERY unsafe. TO be clear this is not towards Tay and Aaron. They are equally concerned when someone will think this is an acceptable remedy
If Tay and Aaron made a podcast, I'd listen/watch the shit outta it. These guys have such great chemistry together.
“Meth adjacent” is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while….. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Amazing content today Tay.
I'm so glad you watched these. I /knew/ from the thumbnails bad things were happening. But refused to watch them so they wouldn't get the ad revenue. And you're so right - we all got a little bit stupider
Material cost of some of these contraptions is more than going out and buying a cheap version.
I gave the Angle Grinder Weed Eater 5 toes for color coordinating the c clamp to the Ken flip flops. 😂😂😂

Chain saws run anywhere from 5k rpm for cheap saws to 14k rpm for commercial saws
i recently purchased a £70 cordless strimmer / brush cutter, this 4 lb weight machine came with 3 blade options, plastic blades, a steel butterfly blade, and the last blade was a circular saw blade, the saw blade easily goes through a 1" branch
Hello fellow Chinese death trap purchaser. Used once, tossed for fear of missing toes and or fingers.
Talk about losing a couple of Toes.

That is just crazy. I can see it now, an OSHA inspector somewhere is having a heart attack watching this video.
Are flip flops ok for sandblasting?
Aron does really well on camera.
the best part was watching Aaron be visibly terrified
I enjoyed the guest appearance of the legendary 'Safety Sandals'.
Here in Australia, we call them "Thongs", and New Zealand call them "Flip Flops". At B.H.P Steelworks we called them Japanese Safety boots.

This is what happens when a single crate of Angle Grinders accidentally gets shipped to Croatia.
Yeah.... You could be right !
We need crafty panda review special from you guys
Hilarious and scary at the same time.
Next one - do improper welding DIY. Once saw a welding video promoting using brake cleaner to prepare metal, and the creator refused to take it down.
HF pricing likely went up ahead of a sale. Sad but true.
that was painful to watch.. sad part about this is how many people would actually try this shit at home :(
The Saw blade on the Angle grinder and Drill nearly made me fall off my chair with Fright. All I could see were pieces of hands going everywhere.

Instead of fingers could we give a loss of an eye instead of a finger or maybe pints of blood?

Darwin award nominations are in place
It must be a slow day in Roanoke. LMAO.
THESE WERE THE PROPS THAT DID NOT MAKE IT INTO THE MOVIE SAW, Please get the lights turned back on in your shop and make something. Ray

I want to see a video we’re Aaron makes Tay build a bicycle frame.
Make him just Lugs or fillet brazing.
Guilty of sandals in the garage...
You would have to be ready stuck in the desert to do any of those
Wow.. just wow...
A Husqvarna 435 chainsaw the average run of the mill one 13,300 RPMs maximum

You sound like "Mrs Brown". (Mrs Browns boys).
Those aren't flip-flops. Those are the original "thongs"! Prior to the new "thongs"! "aka "three point restraint" in the 60's.
Oh man... theres so many of these hair pulling DIY videos. 😅🤦♂️
They make cheap ass tools so that you don't have to do this, I don't understand, just don't. On the flip side you have guys like "made in Poland" who makes some truly amazing stuff that definitely won't kill you, unless that was the intention.
These videos scream "Russia life is hard!!!" 😅

You should check out the Pakistani mechanics and metal forgers. I cringe every time

These guys doing this are from India and eastern Europe
You forgot to include your own video where you tell people to remove the guard from angle grinders 😂
Is this a great example of why people shouldn't be messing with viruses? Or other deadly pathogens that could wipe out human life on the planet? Just because a thing can be done doesn't mean it should be.
Darwin should be left alone and allowed to work....
OMG and WTF
