@@OneSybert well its a little bit of both. Most of the terrain and textures are copied.
I could send you the original (and other maps that I did) if you are interested.
I mostly make maps for essence (you might remember them from the Essence casts you did a while ago, those were all mine)
Its like they took the finished 3v3 map Kella made and retextured some stuff and added some new gameobjects. The Tib field layout, Pyramids, and dunes are all the same, besides a retexture.
It's actually a cool edit but they should have given credit for using an existing map.

Well it was a Pyramid Desert map initially. Originally a 3v3 map. The 2v2 version of this works pretty well I gotta say

Game lags out. There's some bug or issue with the engine that causes the game to lag when the missile is fired off.

Are you playing with more than 30 FPS? it looks so smooth compared to when i play. I play on 21:9 so that might be a reason.
IIRC he does it in post.
140 hz monitor and every game with lock will look good.
Game is running at 30, the footage is interpolated up to 60 in the edit.

1.03 is an unofficial fan patch (like 1.02+) it's still in beta and can be downloaded from Command Post: cgf-uploads.net/
1.02+ is mostly bug fixes, 1.03 is game altering. they are branches, not incremental improvement.

Why does the Ion Cannon look so pathetic now?
They shortened it to make it more effective against armies, but they did so in a lazy and unsatisfying way... and then just left it like that for years.
