Like you, I wanted this and that for my deck, but I decided to spruce up what I have, and I've found contentment in that. Thank you so much for sharing your heart and your beautiful creations.
I would have power washed and stained the deck while you had it empty and swept off it really is very cheap compared to replacing it in the future. Most of the time it looks like a brand new deck I’ve stained and power washed decks many many times and it is the cheapest way to refresh and lengthen the overall life of the deck. It’s not an easy job but it is a satisfying job and worth it considering a deck your size is probably $20K job to replace and for 2 days work and under $100 bucks you could have a clean new space to refresh. I have to agree with you I wouldn’t be spending $1200 on a patio set until the deck was power washed to get rid of the algae which will rot your deck quickly and stained with probably 3 coats of stain to protect it from further damage asap❤❤❤
We all need to enjoy where we are at right now in life. Be content! When you can move ahead then move ahead but feel good about it. You won't be in debt. You will enjoy what you have more if you save and prepare. Great message Adaline. Ty so much. Love to Cory.

I love the outdoor deck. Yes, it would be nice to have an endless supply of cash to bring your vision to life. But, your finished product is warm, cozy and inviting. I would definitely be contented sitting there by the fire. Great video.

I really enjoyed the message, almost as much as you yeeting the plantpots off the deck LOL man, I miss central TX gardening, our season up in the panhandle is so much shorter and and much more effort required to keep plants happy, MUMs back home we would put in the ground and they would get like 3 ft wide! needed the reminder to enjoy having a season at all and any pops of color for however long they last ;) ps that table ended up being the perfect transition piece into the space!
Love being able to sit on the porch💜 perfect place to take a cup of coffee and my Bible. Your deck turned out so well, contentment comes from within, I believe that being in tune with our Heavenly Father is a large part of being content😊💜🙏

This definitely spoke to me. I wanted to get an outdoor sectional and a cantilever umbrella etc etc but instead I cleaned up the table and chairs and got a bright outdoor rug, cushions plants & candles. A fraction of the price and I LOVE it ❤

I love the pretty spindles on the desk, so cute! You could always spray paint the chairs a pretty color that would compliment the rug and table/bench and still remain budget friendly.

The terracotta pots were meant to be soaked in water so you didn't have to water the plants as often. My babysitter would take all of her plants and put them in the sink and water them until the pots were thoroughly wet and put them all back my grandma would put them in a basket with water in it until the water on the pot went all the way to the top of the pot. Oh if you accidentally break on put the pieces in the bottom of the pot and the plant would take longer before you have to water the plants.love your plants there beautiful
A few days ago I did similar layout with 6 plastic chairs I had and an inexpensive Amazon round rug on patio under deck. Thanks for plant ideas. Amazing to see your plan on a budget too.
I didn't see the lights that you screwed into the fence, I just see the string lights, I would have like to have seen how bright they are at night, such a great idea and the patio looks amazing!
