I love the Uintas so much. I grew up in Heber City, so they were definitely my backyard! The last time I went to Amethyst Lake, it was very snowy and cold and lots of mud. It was years ago in early October. Thanks for sharing!
looks like a beautiful place, I am a tenkara fly fishing addict and love fishing meadow streams. I live in Utah and there is so many streams like that on backpacking trails so I am looking to get into it for the first time this year. Its a shame about the tree kill, some parts of the Uintas look so beautiful when the trees are all alive.
