I think the "human nature" question in it's relation to anarchism is a logically inconsistent question, no matter what the answer is. Consider we have two options, either humans are naturally good, or humans are not naturally good. If the former was true, then there's no need for humans to be dominated or kept under control by another human, and anarchism is reasonable. If the latter is true, and humans are not naturally good, then that should disincentivize the placement of one corruptable human in power over another, meaning anarchism is also reasonable.

@HoH, you forgot the very only time in History the Anarchists were able to put their ideals to work. For a very short time and just partially. It was in July 1936, after the coup d'état at Spain by Sanjurjo, Mola, Franco and other army generals. The coup failed at most of the cities in the country, because of the workers were highly politicised by the Anarchist and Socialist unions (CNT and UGT) and had been fighting against the dictatorship of general Miguel Primo de Rivera during the last phase of the corrupt monarchy of king Alfonso XIII in the 1920's. After defeating the coup officers and their far right allies at Madrid, Barcelona and many other cities (some times supported by the police and Guardia Civil, sometimes opposed by them), the workers found themselves as the only real force (armed force), as the government resigned and a provisional government did so too after just a day or so. So, they started a revolution. President Azaña had to appoint Francisco Largo Caballero, the leader of the socialist union UGT, as prime minister of a coalition government with socialists, communists, anarchists and republicans. Yes, there were three Anarchist ministers in that government, as controversial as one can think of that a contradiction. And it was then very controversial for the Anarchists. Some of them saw the need to join forces to win the civil war against Franco and his far right supporters, who were being supported by Mussolini and Hitler. Some others not. In cities and towns they organized the existing companies as "collectivizations", that is, owned and directed by the persons working in them. In the countryside, as Spain had and has two types of properties, large in the Southern half and smaller in the Northern half, there were two solutions. In the South the workers occupied the land of the descendants of the feudal lords who during the Reconquista invaded and sized huge territories, specially in Andalusia. But in other places the small landowners started to join their small plots and little capitals to organize themselves as cooperative companies. In either case, industrial and agricultural companies, decissions were made by all the workers and / or owners in a democratic way. Sometimes this economic organizacional changes were for good and others for bad. There were regions too poor to be successful whatever the way to work on them, like mountain villages. Other places would be too rich to fail, as the companies in Valencia exporting oranges to France and beyond, as their owners simply joined any trade union and went on with their usual business. In any case, capitalists and libertarian communists are just humans and some of them could make and made business mistakes and others were very succesful, expanding their companies business. All this novelties finished in May 1937. As all the governments in Europe, democratic or not, were afraid of any revolution, democratic or not, no state in Europe supported the Spanish government against their foes, even after having proof of Mussolini and Hitler supporting Franco. (An Italian plane crashed on French Africa in route to Spain). Only Mexico and specially the Soviet Union sent weapons to Spain to support the fight against Franco. But after some month Stalin decided to topple the Spanish government and take control. (George Orwell wrote about this event in "Homage to Catalonia"). The Communists moved their disciplined and well equiped recently formed military units to Barcelona, main center of Anarchist power, took it from the workers after a day of combat and forced a change of government by convincing enough Socialist ministers to resign and withdraw their support to PM Francisco Largo Caballero, who was forced to resign. President Azaña had to appoint a middle class socialist, the neurologist Dr. Negrín as prime minister, who excluded the Anarchists from the new government, controlled by Communists who obbeyed to Moscow. Stalin started in Spain the prologue to the purges in Soviet Union. Since May 1937 the Soviet agents and the Spanish Stalinists started to arrest, torture, imprison and kill their political enemies: Non Stalinist Communists like Andreu Nin, revolutionary Socialists, Anarchists, union members. And the Communist government broke up the democraticly led cooperative companies transforming them in government led state companies. And so the Anarchist revolution was aborted and the Spanish people lost their need to resist to Franco. They endured two more years of a lost war forced by the government, but in 1939, after the fall of Barcelona under Franco, colonel Segismundo Casado, supported by Anarchists units staged in Madrid a coup against the Stalinists, defeated them and surrendered the country to Franco, who so couldn't and didn't need to win the war.
