I have a trip scheduled this year with my two boys to Hawk Lake Lodge. I'm beyond excited. But, as an American, the restrictions on travel into Canada right now are in place. I'm hopeful that this will change because we've had this planned for nearly a year. Ted and his crew have really earned the right to (safely) open their lodge this season. I think all of us who are traveling of course want to be safe, but at the same time, help out folks like Ted who have done so much work to try and continue to provide these sorts of experiences for all of us. My family and I discuss this trip (at least) weekly. We've never been to Canada before and can't be more excited. I just pray that we won't have to cancel due to COVID. The world is ready for this to be over and to move on with our lives.
Unfortunately its all the people (US and Canadian) who wont follow safety guidelines that will keep the border closed for now. hopefully you and your family can make it up for your trip. these are the kind of trips that your family will remember forever. tight lines
I get the whole promoting against the bug but.... Has it ever made anyone wonder, why they must keep sanitizing surfaces that only they touch? Thanks for the years of amazing fishing shows !!
I have my trip planned for august up near Kapuskasing Ontario. An added plus is the Ontario government is floating the idea to give fellow Ontario residents tax credits on money spent in Ontario on certain items, could make it all the more reason to plan a trip in Ontario this summer.
