The owner of Lucy’s has been a friend of mine for years, great bloke. He and his family did it really tough thru Covid. It’s great to see them kicking on.

Keep up the good work! If someone like me attracted with your videos, it's because the honesty of the video. You didn't try to look professional, just daily vlog from normal people. And you did good job apart from harsh comment that you receive. I appreciate it.
We appreciate your honesty, music to our ears. Thats exactly why we do the videos, everyday people giving honest feedback, we appreciate some people wont be into us and that's the great thing about TH-cam is you can move on.
We know there's plenty of keyboard warriors and plenty im sure know better but that's ok, we want people to have a good experience in Bali and if people can take a few things away with our videos then that's what we want.
We appreciate what you said and like that we must be doing something right.

agreed, love seeing people game enough to try local warungs its where u find the best food and service and help the locals... most of the big places to eat are very western and sometimes even western owned...

We love our dogs, Matt takes zip lock bags over and buys dog food and always has a bag in his bag for whenever we see dogs, As we say we can not save them all but give them a feed till tomorrow.
Was going to do a video on the Bali dogs but decided to bring them into our videos as you don't have to walk far to ever see a cute street dog.

@MysteryRider1 No not at this stage, As we work full time in oz and do TH-cam as a hobby, For the moment we don't have the time to do a Facebook at the moment, it could eventually change but for time being no.

Legian shop was lovely food as well, It's just Matt doesn't like paying the money, Might have to go there myself hahaha.

I normally have my meals in Kuta or Tuban, but if in Legian I'll ride to the Legian Food Court. At least I know my money is going to the locals. Where possible, I'll avoid any restaurants owned by Australians. Although if I want to watch AFL, NRL, or MotoGP, sometimes there's no choice but to frequent a foreign-owned bar.
G'day James, We love Legian food court your right on there, Yes while we agree with you what so far we see the Aussie owners do seem to do a good job over there with staff and jobs, (Looking after there staff) Same with sport they do cater for us by having the games on TV which always brings a crowd.
Agreed support local families first, which mostly in our videos we love supporting little family warungs.

We went there a few days ago, very nice and cheap. Best coffee. Have you been at Duke Melasti? We went there last nite. Not so great, expensive, slow service. Great videos, keep up.

No have not been to Duke as it's very new and like to give some time to find there feet and seem really touristy, But Duke is newest pub on Melasti.

The Indonesian coffee is GOOD - alot stronger than in Aussie
We have hit and miss over the years with local coffee, Bec reckons she need to have a shave after drinking local coffee with the increase of hairs put on our chest lol

Chapter 2 well overpriced 50,000 for a bowl of chips! Will give this one a miss for sure
Chips might not be the cheapest but drinks and entertainment at night are a real plus for a good night.

Its $5.50 for 2 maccas hash browns only, in Australia, eggs benedict less than half than in Australia, reasonably priced for what you get, I personally enjoy a babi guling breakfast 🫢
Don't worry about Matt, He's just a cheapskate, I loved it. Was delicious.
I'm not a fan of babi guling for brekkie though.
