John - My recommendation for a "predicted" type ACAAN effect with a regular, shuffled deck in use is CAANARD by J.K. Hartman. Can be found in his book CAAN Craft. The effect is very strong because you "position" a card in a specific location after a regular deck is freely shuffled by the spectator. The card you positioned is in effect your prediction. Next the spectator freely names any card and of course any number they want 1-52. No restrictions at all. The whole thing is over in less than 2 minutes and is very strong. The presentation covers what you are doing. I've fooled tons of people with that over the years and is an excellent "in between" effect you can use in the middle of any jam session or card set.
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews Thanks David. That's very helpful as it reads as very practical and a trick I'm more likely to perform. I will order the book and check it out this week.
Hi David: I am guessing that there are gimmicked cards in addition to blank cards to perform Loxely. If that is the case, can the cards be made without too much trouble at home, or is it necessary to buy them? Also, do you end clean? Probably not?
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews I would love to see a full review of it to hear your thoughts. I am thinking hard about whether to buy it and would appreciate hearing your thoughts (preferably before I do buy, so the sooner the better! 😀)
Thanks for another very considered review.
My pleasure!
Another fantastic review David.
Glad you enjoyed it Tony!
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews I really enjoy them all.
Thanks for the reviewing these effects and the incredible insights David. Are there any Predicted CAANs you would recommend using a regular deck?

Almost. You may need 1 gaff card that you could make yourself or just find in an assortment deck.
Hope you can review books again, to help me decide before buying XD
Hi David, would you be able to do a review of the Refraktor project by Collin Claus and Kev G?
Sure thing. I really enjoyed that project.

40 bucks for that shite, unbelievable. It does say that Dan Harlen liked it, so I assume he's back on the sauce.
Exactly
