Thanks so much for these tutorials. I cannot find any other channel that's as good with unity tutorials as you. I hope you grow into a much bigger channel.
I just found this channel and subscribed instantly. Great explanations. 😁I really appreciate the comments explaining what the tools you're using are actually doing and how it all fits together programmatically.
FINALLY GOT IT! I've been trying to understand this Animator for MONTHS (had Unity for years, finally started REALLY learning how to use it this April following a personal promise to make two practice games a week. It's working), tutorial after tutorial (from really talented tutors mind you). After following this and tweaking around with my code for about an hour, I've got my character looking more lively. Thank you!
I have looked everywhere on how to use blend trees and the new input system. I have seen 100 different ways on how to get the player to move, but 0 on how to move and use these animations in this specific way. EVERYTHING is movement and animations with the old input system. I have been looking for 4 days, so thank you. I learned a lot from this and hopefully I can use this information to do combat and whatever else I may need. Keep up the great videos! I am now a sub
@@VelvaryGames I also have a question. On other input tutorials they seem to always do something like private void update(){ Vector2 move = playerControls.Player.Move.Readvalue() I have never seen the (InputValue value) like you did. Why is that?
thank you so much for making this! i've been searching for hours about how to make 4-directional sprite movements but the only ones i could find with the new input system were just ones that were left and right. this was the perfect video for me and this tutorial worked great! :D
Anyone know how to animate it with layers on top on it like this character had no clothes if we add clothes on top that have its own frames that match together how do we sink the animations?

I almost never comment on things, but this is so incredibly helpful, best video I've seen for Unity, including one's I've paid for.

Fantastic! I needed to animate my character using the new input system, and this one does it! Thank you :)
How to flip the animation as I do not want to redraw the same animation and waste more space.

This was a great video and very helpful, thank you so much!
When you just drag and drop multiple images into the scene, Unity automatically creates an animation out of it :-)
