I am new to the sport of Paintball, i have only played 2 days so far, the 1st day playing like 8-9 games, 2nd day playing like 4. Out of all these games, id say that Cover/Mid - Sniper/Back are my 2 favorites, preferably Cover/Mid. I love watching your video's and can't wait to test them out next time i go ! I am buying my own gear soon, a Spyder Fenix with Halo Hopper and Apex barrel, cannot wait to start going hardcore in this sport !
this totally makes sense to me mike, great videos, I can play out scenarios in my head based on info youve given me and what i already know. great info, makes me realise what my strenghts are I own a tippmann Seirra one and really enjoy woodsball. i like how you pointed out being a communicator for your team which makes sense.
@sushijazzbar Flatline is good because it just adds straight up range to your gun. Apex tips have the advantage of being able to curve the ball in any direction, but you have to be skilled to make use of that. When they are just firing upright, you have to compensate quite a lot and point right up high to make it fly flat. The apex 2 is just like an apex 1 but longer and with a bigger effect at high settings. Apex can also be adjusted.
what i could highly recommend for a mid player is to get radio's for the main person of each player type: a radio to a mid, point, and back, the communication is flawless i used a radio last weekend and it was probably the smartest thing ive ever done and you can hear the countdown on the ref's radio instead of not knowing when its starting and you can use the radio when your out and your friends are still in the game and you could ask whats going on and see if you could hussle up
@paintballtechpb How do you use bluetooth? I found some bluetooth headsets real cheap at a surplus store but am not sure if i wanna bring my cell phone onto the feild. Is there a way to hook it up to a radio? Thanks.
the flatline creates an arc. if the barrrel is not completely straight it will curve sideways. for example if the barrel is slanted horizontaly to the left it will curve left.
@paintballtechpb you said that most people play right handed, well i used to play speedball so i developed that skill of shooting both hands now i'm on a woodsball team is that what you mean buy shooting both hands? i thought most people used both hands, not right hand on left side. Besides first time people never seen that.
Favorite mid player tactic: Get a guy at mid with a fast gun. Front guys make contact, fall back, then advance through the brush along their flanks. This draws their fire and attention to the sides. Then the mid player walks up to where the original contact point was made and obliterates them. Rude tactic, but works well.
i have a tippman bravo one basic edition. It's not a very good sniper because the built in scope is crap. It's not a very good frontman gun because it's only single shot. Which means i have to cock it then shoot then repeat. So should i use it as a mid gun. P.S. haven't used it yet .
what i do as a mid player is follow close behind the front players and shoot at the enemy front players so my front player can travel further and take them out
@xXPyropaintballerXx Do you have any friends that are your age, that play with their fathers? Get him to watch them for a round or two. Or you could do a father/son day thing at your paintball field, get him to rent a gun and play with you so you get your dad involved in the sport. If you two have a blast together then suggest going to a scenario game if he's free or for a vacation
lol well watch the video that he made... i see that some body has to make a team i started a team a year ago but i must say it turned out terrible. i think that it is much easier to join a team and have other people worry about registering your team for events, dealing with sponsors, making websites, making practice schedules and stuff like that. if he wants to start a team thats great, but that requires a lot of hard work and detication
amazing mask but not really for woodsball. the reason is because you may be playing for games that last 10, 20, 30 minutes or more and because the profiler is a single pane mask it tends to fog after lengthy periods of time. this is coming from and owner with experience
only an idiot follows someone who runs away. when i run away its so that i can dive into a bunker turn around and waste anyone who thinks they are going to shoot me in the back
he already has a video of putting together teams but to sum up the video don't do it lol find a team and join that team starting your own team just ends up terrible

I didn't know you went to Blandings, I went Billy's Bash there last December. It was fun, but a little too crowded for me.
@paintballtechpb How do you use bluetooth? I found some bluetooth headsets real cheap at a surplus store but am not sure if i wanna bring my cell phone onto the feild. Is there a way to hook it up to a radio?
Thanks.
@MrBobbyEverett hey does the apex barrel work bettr than the flatline cause i cant decide wich one to get for my alpha black
@ccar0329 yes the flatline can curve balls realy badly when the gun is tilted
mike if the paintball go's too far when your using a flatline wont it just bounce off?
hey mike what about a BT apex barrel on a tippmann 98. Is that better than a flatline havent used apex before only used flatline.
small bore paint for apex barrel is best right?
the flatline creates an arc. if the barrrel is not completely straight it will curve sideways. for example if the barrel is slanted horizontaly to the left it will curve left.
hey mike how can u link bluetooths together in the field? do we call eachother?

i love the v-force profile i think
i can hear well
what helmetcam do you use?
Would an Apex work like the flatline?
Which is better flatline or apex or apex2?
and blutooth

so do u have to shoot u or shoot them bak
first post!!
lol what if you do the 321 thing but flank??
Yes. They both put a Spin on the ball so it doesn't drop as fast.
what i do as a mid player is follow close behind the front players and shoot at the enemy front players so my front player can travel further and take them out
