LoriAnne from Mad Curls talks about how to use the curl soufflé correctly. I used it on dry hair to refresh on day 2 and it worked okay, but my hair got really hard. I do like the oil in cream and all of the scalp line.
I remember her saying that. Unfortunately I didn't remember while I was filming this video so I followed the instructions on the package. I honestly don't think it would have worked well on my hair dry though especially since I have low porosity
You just saved me TONS of money. I will not spend the money on the Souffle now. I was going to buy since it's on sale today for Black Friday, but, nah! Thanks for the honest review 🤗
Glad I could help! It works for some people but definitely not for me. I haven't tried any of their other lines other than the hair color gels but there may be other products that work better. I'm just not excited about trying them at their price point.
@@NaturallyNatalie I tried a few conditioners and my hair hated it. So I was on the fence about their stylers. After seeing your review - I liked your video because i can tell it was edited as you applied the product so I knew it was a true result 😁 - I decided to save my money on the stylers too and look elsewhere
Can’t blame u on the curl defining soufflé even that one had me confused when I tried it. I have used the in shower fixer with hold me softly balm for twistouts only and they come out nicely. I do get some frizz but that’s usually on day 3 or 4 and it’s not bad. I do like the oil in cream it pairs nicely with other products but like u said it could have more slip and more moisture.
Thanks for sharing your experience with them! I always wonder if other people have similar thoughts on them as I do. I wouldn't have thought to do a twist out with the in shower fixer... interesting 🤔
Yea I ended up returning them all to ulta. I contemplated keeping the oil in cream because it really wasn't bad but I have so many leave ins that I like better it just didn't seem worth it
That's a tough question, I've tried a ton of products and there are a lot that give me good definition. I would say most recently the ones I've used that give me good definition have been curlmix, miche sculpt gel, and the tgin miracle repairx gel but you can see from my previous videos there have been other products that give me good definition too. I have a wash and go playlist on my channel if you want to check them out! :)
That was the worst purchase I have made in a long time. The In-Shower fixer did NOT work for me and I have 3C hair. My hair was soooo frizzy after I applied it and hours later.
For all the hype, I stay disappointed with curlsmith. For me, the only product of theirs that I've gotten to work to my satisfaction is the flexi jelly. The caveats are, I paid half price for that gel and I use it over the melanin leave-in and twisting cream. Curlsmith's weightless cream left me feeling dry the next day. And that's on wash and goes, btw.
I have heard good things about the flexi jelly and almost got that when I returned the other products but I just didn't feel the need... plus they weren't on sale lol
I've tried a few products and wasn't overly impressed. I think they are over hyped especially for the price! They aren't terrible but I not worth the price. I've tried cheaper products that work better.
I agree I just purchased a trial shampoo and conditioner $12 /ea not impressed the shea moisture products work just as well if not better for less. It really depends on your hair and your lifestyle /maintenance /health imo
It's actually a misnomer. I think it should be horrible for wavy hair.. The in shower style fixer needs to be done soaking wet hair in sections. It can be a "one and done" tbh.
@@NaturallyNatalie that's fair. I was just giving my thoughts on the product itself. I actually think its more for coily and thick curly hair. Wavy heads would likely be weighed down a lot. Sorry it didn't work for you though. I have fine mostly 4c hair and it worked great with the oil and cream. I had hold all week which has never happened for me!

This video came just in time. I purchased the oil in cream a couple months ago when ulta had it 50% off and I have yet to try it.

No scrunching😆
Yes girl! No scrunching over here 😄
What’s the best products that has given you the best curl defined wash and go?

The souffle wasn't a win for me. However, I use the Curl Smith line and then Kinky Curly Custard
Hm I wouldn't think to put those together 🤔 thanks for sharing!

Ok I was beginning to think I was the only one these didn't work for haha. Glad to know I was not alone

I actually tried it as a one and done in the shower and it did not work for me. I've accepted that these products just aren't for me and that's ok 🙂

They are too expensive.
They are very pricey. And I have products I like better that are less expensive so... back to Ulta they went! 😁
It is a luxury line. It's my new go to
I hated the stylers and my hair texture is a lot like yours.
That just shows I guess it's not meant for everybody. It is disappointing though
