Awesome artist and the sound engineers from KEXP....top notch.
New album is great, beautiful melodies and instrumentation. I'm less enthusiastic about the lyrics, but I do appreciate the personal anecdotes and spiritual themes.
I've also listened to his earlier album Singing Saw and liked it a lot too. Excited to check out his other work!

Saw him in Le Havre France a few years ago. There where just a dozen people but the gig was awesome.
This album was good, but it really comes alive seeing them play it live. No pun intended lol. Would love to see them in person

Never heard of this band somehow, for some reason i got Johnathan Richman vibes aswel as many others. But they 100% have there own little sound going on. Very cool bad I will be listening to there albums and other live shit from now on.

Well, you know, that is awesome. But still I wonder why bands are sometimes named after the name of vocalist? That is a little bit unfair to other members who are also very cool dudes actually.
I don’t think he has a consistent band. Just saw him a few weeks ago with a completely different band it seemed, other than the sax player I believe.
because he's the writer and in a way the composer for all the albums he writes and only has touring band members

I like Kevin, like his music, and he seems like a good dude.
But, let's all remember: New York is a state, and New York City is where he moved. He says LA. If you mean NYC, then say NYC. It just nice to remember the entire, big, beautiful state and not reduce it to five boroughs. Especially when Kevin seems to have enjoyed his trip to the Finger Lakes Region!
