@Bevoin1970 This is very simple - but I explain 1.turn on the ignition and wait until all the lights go out 1.a.if it displays a "service" to wait until off 2.press "0" and hold about 30 seconds. until you hear a "beep" 3.then press the "M" button a few times,until you get to "reset .51" (.51 - that is, long life oil) 4. press "0" twice and it should show the message "done" 5.turn off the ignition and you can enjoy the next 25000mil
I think I understand what you did, ignition on then press and hold the button in till it bleeps? couldn't see properly because of the glare coming from the display. I saw the word reset, what else did you do and what does it reset too? interesting. Thanks Paul :-)
@Bevoin1970 very important: mercedes don't recommend reset service from computer, because the wrong counts the next service, I got this information from the technician mercedes truck & van.
Oh my gosh ... a little audio explanation would have gone a long way. Plus a better camera angle would have allowed us to actually see what the display was reading. How about a redo with audio and better camera angle?? The way it is ... it's totally useless for a first time person wanting to learn this.

This is works only without multifunction stering wheel, so if You have a standard steering wheel without bottons it works
