Katase Kaigan Higashihama and Nishihama are one of Japan's leading resort beaches, bustling with people enjoying marine sports throughout the year, with spectacular views of Enoshima and Mt. Fuji. Beach houses have also been developed and are crowded with many families and young people. The sea is shallow and has a wide sandy beach, so it is a perfect beach for children to get in touch with nature.
