You got your boyfriend to go to Sephora with you and he stayed for a significant amount of time? OK he’s a keeper. All the men in my life ; my spouse, my son, my brothers would be like “oh hell no!” 😂
He is!! 😄 he’s actually really into fragrance as well! When I met him, he had a Le Labo and a Parfums de Marly and I was like okay…it’s meant to be 😂 it’s really fun chatting about fragrance with him and getting his opinion, we have practically identical tastes as well!
So I am a silent watcher, and even though I feel like I am a more subtle, understated person (especially compared to you, idk what your sign is or even if you are into that lmao) I feel like you and I are very similar fragrance wise at least. I blind bought The 7 Virtues Santal Vanille and Kayali Musk 12 sample bottles, and OMGGGGGGG girl you know exactly what you’re talking about! Wow. I am IN LOVE. Santal Vanille is the best thing I’ve ever smelled, I WANT someone to ask about it so bad so I can convince them them to buy it!, however I want to be selfish so I can keep the greatness to myself lmao! I love Kayali Musk, I just wish the performance was more because it’s so, so good. Thank you so much, Anne!

omg can't believe I just found your channel! Love the way you're describing these scents! Clean Reserve Skin is an absolute winner. It's definitely sweet on me so not as "fresh" but but it's so addictive it's a complete dream😍 I love Wood Sage and Sea Salt as well! Was a complete surprise to me since I'm not usually into those aromatic and aquatic scents but it's so FRESH and gorgeous. I just wish it stuck around for longer since it's so expensive. Trying to find a dupe for this but that has been so difficult🥲
Coco Noir is beautiful it was gifted to me by my son because he knew it was on my wish list. I really want the Coconut Fizz. I just ordered Skylar Vanilla on the sale that’s running now.
--- I personally did not like Coco Noir when i first got it as a gift, but the more I wore it, the more I liked it. It's one of those perfumes that you would wear to a beautiful, winter, evening wedding with a nice dress. I also took it with me last time i went to NYC...it was winter, it was cold and Coco Noir was perfect.

This is an obscure, non-Sephora rec, but I wanted to mention it for all of us vanilla lovers out there, and it's very affordable. There is an indie perfume house called Cocoapink which has dupes for Indult Tihota and Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille (I haven't smelled those dupes). They also have a dupe that's meant to be a combination of those two called Triple Vanilla Dream, which is absolutely delicious and smells a lot more expensive than it is.

I just got my Sephora order and I got a travel size of 7 virtues sandal vanille. It is so sad that I didn’t get a bigger bottle. Very soft almost skin scent but oh my god I love it so much. It’s me in a bottle too. It’s just such a good smell. Thank you for the recommendation. 👍🏻

I got Skin in a roller ball from Sephora.
It was a suggested sample for me.
And I tested it a little on my hand, and I could not STOP smelling it!

Clean Reserve is great. My first bottle was Warm Cotton years ago. And then I smelled Skin on a coworker and picked that one up too. It’s great. Definitely picked up Chanel since it literally NEVER goes on sale anywhere else. EVER.
My bf wears the Dossier dupe of Jazz Club and when we go out, women swarm around him haha. It smells SO GOOD..keeps me on my toes!

That Chloe Nomade is awesome. I also love the Absolu. I was hesitant to blind buy due to the numerous “smells like BO” or “smells like feet” reviews. I don’t get any of that. Both remind me of walking around in the woods on a warm day. Flowers are blooming. Trees are fully leafed out. It’s rained the previous day or so. Just a lovely scent. 🥰

@@AnneLauren I convinced myself that the notes are right up my alley and wouldn’t smell bad. Neither smells bad to me at all, so I’m not sure what’s causing it to smell bad on others. I do know some people can’t do oak moss… I happen to LOVE it.

I've never smelled the Reserve line but I love the original Clean Skin mixed with Philosophy Living Joyously for my freshie. For the price I will stick with the original line 😅 I tried out the Santal by 7 Virtues and was sad that I didn't like it. I guess I prefer more feminine fragrances.

I LOVE CLEAN RESERVE SKIN! It was an instant love. Sometimes I wear a perfume because I get a lot of compliments on it but I don’t love it if that makes sense. At this stage of my life I want to embrace what I enjoy and this scent is it!

@@WhitfieldLexus both! Although I can see it being easily overshadowed by another fragrance, so if you do layer it, I’d go in heavier with Skin than the other scent

Blackberry Lily smells like a car freshener and Coconut Fizz smells like B&BW's At the Beach to me. Crazy how our noses all interpret scents differently!

I can’t speak 100% to its performance in comparison since I don’t own a full bottle of Musk yet, but from the sample, I feel like the performance is a bit better from Skin :)

I was planning on blind buying Aerin Hibiscus Palm and Lalique Soleil. Do you think Coco Fizz is better than both of those??? Would love to here your thoughts on the perfect tropical!

As long as you like the sound of my description, I do think it’s a safe blind buy! I tried Lotus Pear on a tester strip and wasn’t impressed with it, but maybe I have to try on the skin!

Hi. Could you recommend a coconut fragrance that does have that suntan lotion vibe 😆 like a creamy coconut with all of the summer, beachy vibes? Something a little more rich than the Guerlain (one of my favorite houses btw)
hahah yes I can 😆 Aerin Hibiscus Palm, Mancera Holidays, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, & Tom Ford Soleil Blanc all have that suntan lotion DNA. That type of scent profile isn't for me personally, but out of all of these, Hibiscus Palm was my favorite :)

Which do you prefer kayali musk or clean reserve skin? And what is the wear time for both?
I prefer the smell of Skin, and I mention the wear time in the video, but I can't give a proper review on the longevity of Musk since I just have a 2ml sample. However, I would guess that Musk performs a bit better than Skin judging from the experience I get from the sample

Flora Cherrysia? I have :) It’s pretty, dainty, delicate. Cherry blossoms (they don’t smell like cherries, I was curious if they’d possibly pull that way, but it’s just a soft floral), a fresh, light watermelon (I get the white part of the watermelon inbetween the red fruit and the rind), white musk, and violet. Not for me at all but it is pretty. Part of it smells young and part of it smells a bit dated, interesting! Ozonic, aquatic, fresh, powdery floral. :)

Vanilla 28 for me is so boooooring. Keep trying it in the malls again and again after lestening all this reviews and just can not understand. Live Kyali but vanilla is no no no for me.
