Toxin has one thing going on for it and that's toxin status damage archon shards, because they can massively increase it to become a very good DOT element Also, one thing about electric and gas that makes them pretty good, they have a "0 tick damage delay"; other elements have to wait 1 second before the damage happens, but with electric and gas it starts when you proc it, meaning that if you have a wrapon that deals 1000 damage and it procs electric you will actually be dealing 1500 damage.
Unless it has been fixed, electricity and gas (inconsistently tho) also have the opportunity to trigger deadhead, and benefit from the headshot multiplier granted by deadhead. It is a bit more convenient to set up compared to merciless blast builds.
With the elemental changes building viral on your weapon and having a companion apply corrosive cold is very effective. Procs frostbite, and partial armor strip from corrosive companion works very well. Viral + Slash or Heat on a weapon on top *chefs kiss*
I love elements (this guy plays lavos and will blind you with his vials of questionably colored colors) honestly im glad we have...you know....an actually reason to play every status, took a damm while but atleast its a time to thrive on,love bursting things with electric, love gas doing gas things, havent found too many reasons to run blast on any of my fun set up,but that's mostly krill issue, love magnetic just saying no to overguard, cold being a cc and crit buff is lovely...and of course the always there winner raket (viral, heat etc) if only impact was worthwile (i still love you,but be better smh)
@@mrwatermelontheexotic3448 Impact really is the only status that has no practical use. I think it would be cool if they made impact procs capable of staggering overguarded units.
I absolutely LOVE gas on ogris, but you really want to invest status duration on it. I use a riven to give me status + gas to properly fit everything in and use Saryn to armor strip with xatas to chain…
Magnetic should be at least in crazy good, it allows mid weapons to kill lvl cap thraxx units and it’s borderline mandatory in EDA. Also eletric is much better than slash tbh
Don't underestimate the slowdown of cold proc. It works on most enemies that are immune to cc, including Acolytes and Archons. P.S.: praise for Sakurako in the thumbnail
another tier list haha you're an honest one. I will say that I have viral on a lot of weapons because I usually use beast companions (20% more loot? hell yeah) and they have a 50% damage bonus against the only faction that matters (orokin) could probably switch statuses around for when I use panzer but eh too much trouble and im not missing much when my weapon has a barely double digit status chance
I'm not sure if you are just looking at this in a vacuum but melee influence definitely puts electric up another notch. Electricity 1 tier up and blast above slash because of melee influence
@@Zyocuh This is supposed to just be the statuses on their own. If I took into account all the different stuff in the game like melee influence, the list would look very different.
Gas and Cold should be higher. I recently discovered that Gas clouds inherit effects from weapon Arcanes. So Secondary fortifier lets you make clouds that, when enemies walk through them, slurps their Overguard. You don't even have to do do anything except fire once and inflict a status. 😂😂😂😂 A Gas setup on Epitaph with its large radius and high status, along with no LOS check, makes this HILARIOUS to watch (and pleasantly effective. Free OG if you're playing a squishy frame) Not sure if this is common knowledge, but I'll put it here anyway because it'll help somebody; Cold slows ALL Demolitionist enemies in the entire game so much they basically are frozen. Giving you plenty of time to spray them down if you don't have a overpowered weapon to kill them instantly or, super fast. If the status inflicted on them comes from a WEAPON SPECIFICALLY, (yes, companions too) the cleanse that Demos's do to remove status effects applied to them DOES NOT work. So if you hit them with cold stacks from a weapon, they STAY immoblized. Meaning not only is Magus Lockdown on your Operator not mandatory for Disruption anymore, allowing you to try new things, but this lets you solo (works in groups too) Disruption for relic farming (LUA) if you're not OP but need relics. Aside from the above info, free crit on a frozen/slowed target is neat, as each stack of cold gives you more crit chance.

viral corro and heat are all top tier together, there are alot of armor strip abilities, but they are all useless becasue of the emeral shards that let u full strip. putting a strip abil on a another warframe is a waste, I have 2 emerald shards, nourish, and build the weapon for heat corro. heat does more damage bec of viral, viral does more damage because of the armor strip. no primer or ability needed besides nourish which half the time ud be using anyways
@@cooper7423 Green shards being used for a full strip honestly isn't that valuable anymore. Before the armor changes happened it was pretty much required to have a full strip, but now you can easily get by with even a half strip.

I’d move void up to pretty decent due to Xata’s. The weird headshot double dipping makes it do so much more damage. Plus Xata’s is like your only real use of void in normal gameplay so it’s the only metric I’m actually going to consider…
the double dipping trait is unique to xatas. if you proc void with operator and shoot with hitscan it will still act as a bullet magnet without any special traits, if you proc void on an armored part you actually lose more damage more than you can potentially deal on a headshot 👍
As it's only available through the use of Caliban exclusively, and is just a status that basically just gives status chance, I didn't find it worth putting in the list.
I just don’t like Radiation no more. It used to be like current magnetic where just having it was nice. Now it’s either wasted dmg or a straight up detriment especially for a lot of abilities. There’s ways to get around the dmg loss but the thought of my dmg being lost pisses me off…
It’s an extra element for CO that only takes one mod slot. I’m not sure you’re “losing damage” and it still has its cc aspect to it. It’s not the best but I don’t mind throwing it on a lot of weapons for the one mod slot costand the secondary perk on those mods are sometimes useful.
