Questions about slabs sticking together or stretching and distorting when removing. I just use an oversized rolling pin and matching wood strips on either side of the clay to make slabs.
Wow Randy, You saved me $1000 or more. Do you have a pocket potters wheel? Im working on a plan for one but why waste the time if someone else has done it (centuries ago)? I think ill buy your DVD and see what else I can learn. Thanks a lot.

Calling it a "roller" is not accurate. A roller compresses the clay as it rolls it out making the slabs stronger.
