I was told that you should do a colon cleanse before starting a fruit fast because fruit digests fast and will ferment any leftover food that’s in your intestines, do you find this to be true or necessary?
Hi love, that is an excellent question. Funny enough I did do a colon cleanse prior to making this video, which inspired me to continue my journey of cleaning my body & participating in this fast. I def. should've mentioned that in my video. So I will be pinning this comment 💛 Based on my knowledge, a colon cleanse does not seem mandatory in order to do a fruit fast and being that I did this for only 5 days, much prep was not necessary. However, since everyone's diet is different I would say even if you can cleanse your colon using easy at-home methods for at least a few days before participating in any fast, that would be great! Always contact a health professional if you plan on doing a long-term fast. 💐 I like watching @DrMindyPelz & @AHealthyAlternative here on TH-cam for fasting methods/tips! hey love, that should be fine. I ate until I felt full, the only thing I would keep in mind is how much sugar the fruits that you are intaking in large amounts contain. Mangos are super sweet, so I would balance it with watermelon, cucumbers, and water throughout the week. I hope that helps 💕
I’m going on a fruit fast today but I am scared that going lose a lot of weight, I’m already 120 pounds lol do u recommend for me to do the fast for 3 days instead of 5?
Hey love, that is a good question, I am not a health professional, but I would say to trust your gut. Starting with 3 days sounds good! Then depending on your weight, you can stop or choose to continue, the good thing is if you are not looking to lose weight. You can really bulk up with your meals & add healthy fats such as avocados & eat until you feel satisfied & full. I hope that helps 💕💐

Most vegetables are actually fruit! Cucumber, avocado, eggplant, squash, zucchini, peppers, and tomato all have seeds inside, which make them a fruit! They just have less sugar than other fruit like mangoes, apples, and peaches. I learned that a few years ago and my entire world was turned upside down. Now every time I am in the supermarket I feel a little empty inside. All of the food I once thought were vegetables, are actually fruit! The only real vegetables are the leafy ones like lettuce and a few others.

You don't see the benefit until day 3, so do for 5 days. You'll lose fat not muscle. Just eat more, a lor more.

This is more a fruit n vegetable fast.
I did not have vegetables. Cucumbers, avocado and tomatoes are all considered fruit. I did add garnish which are herbs but that is 100% optional ✨
