Never been happier for an artist to have a sig model. J5 is such a cool guy, amazing guitarist, and hasn't forgotten that he's a human. Loves his guitars, music, and the people around him. I'll have one!
John 5 is a virtuoso guitarist and me and my friends admire him immensely. I started playing guitar in 1979 when I was 10 years old, but I only had a Spanish acoustic guitar with nylon strings to play at the time. The first songs that I played were things like Marty Robbins' "El Paso", etc. I also came from a upbringing where I did not get exposed to heavy rock until I turned 18 because it was considered taboo. This molded me into more of a rhythm guitarist, even though I have a lot of friends that were not raised like me and are excellent lead guitarists. 🤔
I never understood his addiction to teles until I tried one. Dual humbucker teles are the coolest, I have 2 now. The MIJ Boxer and a MIM Standard they are my favorite sounding guitars out of my small collection
@@BennieTarrMusic they are his signature riffs. He is not going to whip out his Andre Segovia or THE GREAT KAT riffs of a Sig Fender video. Trust me he can.
Great guitar and definitely a fantastic guitar player, there has to be something said about his incredible jazz style guitar playing toward the ending. Would love to see him write more jazzy type material.
I think I fell in love too. The last guitar I fell in love with was a Peavey EVH Wolfgang when it first come out and I bought it. That was almost 25 years ago but now I've got to play this! I'm 60 and never had a Fender yet.
That's imo on of the coolest looking Telecasters ever made. That fully white neck/fretboard is icing on the cake. Brave move to use the same color theme with the case, but it too looks amazing. Good job Fender & John! I'm personally more Jaguar/Jazzmaster kind of guy, but I'f I'll ever decide to get a Tele, this is the one.
I understand his love for the Tele. I played drums for 30 years then decided to play bass. The only bass that came to mind was a Fender P bass. I've always been a huge Steve Harris fan. His signature bass with the binding around the edge is what made me click on this video. The Ghost is such a cool looking guitar. It reminds me of an old hotrod. Being a car guy, I am naturally drawn to it.
Awesome FENDER🎸《☆》I just recently realized how cool the Dimarzio SD pickups are. I've had them on an Epiphone LP Standard for 10 years but I never played it much. I recently started playing it more. The allen head adjustable pole peices on both coils are set now to the height to optimize the sound of each individual string. It sounds great clean or with distortion👍🏾😎☮
Unfortunately, John made a huge mistake in this video and whoever did the text just followed his lead. I hope you've found out by now, but he doesn't use the SD pickups. He uses the Dimarzio D Activator set. The SD is awesome, though. Just listen to any Boston or half of later Nirvana.
It had been a while Fender had not come up with something exciting, reallly cool to look at and that actually make you think "Hey I wanna have it". Kick ass guitar!
I really want and wish I could get one now! I'm dealing with spine issues and neuropathy. So I started playing the guitar about a year ago for a stress release. I'm in the middle of starting my social security disability application so maybe within 2 years I can get one. My autistic daughter loves the guitar and srums it and shouts rock n roll 😂 Beautiful guitar btw good work Fender!!!
I okay your gold Squire Signature model everyday. It’s butter perfection. And yes, I added a gold kill switch to it. Hope Fender makes more than only 600 of these. They sold out instantly. Congrats.
Hee Haw was the best show ever. I had an acoustic guitar that was missing a couple strings, but I would try to copy that music as a little kid every time it came on.
That is a sweet Tele and I love the kill switch. The colors with that silver pick guard just make everything pop. I wish this would've come out before I started modding my Tele with a kill switch and humbuckers.
Simplesmente fantástica!!! Quando achamos que já desenvolvemos tudo, vem o jonh 5, com esta parceria, fazendo algo limpo, e de rara beleza... "Parabéns, a este grande guitarrista e a fender".
Great person and a beautiful guitar. Saw John 5 and The Creatures play at The Neurolux Lounge in Boise back in April of 2018. He's such a fantastic player. 👻
Great guitar, even greater Guitarist. Will there be a cheaper Squier version available like some of John's other custom Teles. John is one of the greatest guitarists of all time and so humble. 🤘🤘
I really like telecasters, however this takes it to a whole new level!!! I am a Superstrat player by heart e.g. Charvel Charvette. I always loved the Seafoam green teles, and considering my hands are small teles play great. Congrats to John 5 on the Signature Tele, super cool dude!
Fantastic guitar. When John 5 was talking about the sparkly Telecasters on Hee Haw, I thought of Buck Owens's guitarist, Don Rich, and his sparkly Tele. In a Tiger By The Tail video from 1966 (on the Buck Owens show, not Hee Haw), Don tremolo picks into a key change.
Hey John 5 It was nice to meet you that time. Good times !! 💋 Xoxo I was 21 , now I'm 39 Damn I should of kept that "ghost" camera stories to tell my grandkids aren't as sweet without pictures. . Next time I see you around .. I'll say hi. I still have a coffin case. And a really good memory Thanks hope you get this comment Hope it rocks your world. You owe me a camera lol
I find it to be one of the oddest stories in rock n roll to learn that John 5, the Marilyn Manson guitarist, was inspired to play electric guitar watching Hee Haw. Amazing.
According to Alice Cooper who knew Glen Campbell well, Edward Van Halen once asked Cooper if he could get a guitar lesson from Glen. He was that impressed with Campbell’s playing and rightfully so. Cool story as both were obviously powerfully gifted guitarists.
i know there are people out there that are big fans of Telecaster and the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But IMO, Telecaster is an Ugly guitar in general. But not this one. This one got the looks! Well done!
I hear ya on the sig series axs. But you know you can't really go wrong with a telecaster anyways so it's a fool proof make and design. RUN IT J 5 ! KILLER RIFFS .

I usually don’t care for artist signature models but this is just amazingly cool.
Now we can all get some sleep.
I agree, I'm only interested in John 5 & Johnny Ramone's signatures!
I would agree....I really like the look of it. It's clean and sounds pretty good
Joe Strumer🎉Reissued tele
How much for one I'm interested for my first electric
That is one beautiful guitar....and an artist that actually deserves a signature model!
That is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen! Great job John and Fender!
Everything about it is stunning! John killed it!
@@fender Why wasn't a floyd rose not added to John 5's signature telecaster.

Fender has done for John 5 what Gibson did for Buckethead. Shocking variations of the first & most conventional solid body guitars.
Really happy for John 5! What an inspiring player!

This guitar is totally rockin!! Just ordered mine and can’t wait to get it🎸🎸🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Congrats !!!
The fact John was into Hee-Haw is all that needs to be said. Love the dude.
So diverse in his playing! Great ambassador for Fender,
Dude plays the same riff in every video.

I loved when he said all my friends are asking when this guitar will be available. Implies how cool it is.
Super cool and unique. The one piece pickguard/control plate and the red nut and logo really complete it!
Great guitar and definitely a fantastic guitar player, there has to be something said about his incredible jazz style guitar playing toward the ending. Would love to see him write more jazzy type material.
I love the deletion of the inlays on the white fretboard. Looks so clean and cool.
Loved this guy for years now, but I'll always regret not paying closer attention to him sooner. He's on my top 10 favorites.
That jazzy tone at the end was fantastic, didn't expect that from rock-voiced pickups at all.
It is just eq 😂
Would love to hear it played clean
what song is that? or is he just improvising?
@@florianhaider9382 I have DEFINITELY heard Les Paul play that before. If that means anything to you

This is probably the only signature model guitar I would be interested in buying. That thing is awesome
Me too, only other one I care about is if Jason Newsted will ever make a signature bass 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I fell in love with the Telecaster after seeing Albert Collins. Having a Halloween birthday, I can say The Ghost is pretty sensational.

The best Fender signature axe so far, and it coincided perfectly with the John5/Motley Crue tour. Couldn't happen any better.
i love how he ended the video with that smooth jazzy vibe , class act!
Now that's a badass finish. The neck, especially so 🤘
Oh man I can't get enough of HH and Single Volume Tele, it's definitely my thing! 🤘👍

Please make this a standard production model. A Squier model would also be a god send
Hopefully not the only john getting a signature guitar this year
what a gorgeous guitar and that tone.... chef's kiss!
One of the most stunning Telecasters ive seen. One of the most expensive too.
Very much like the Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul, but in Fender shape. And very good looking, too.
I've never been a tele guy, but you made a killer guitar. It's coming from one of the best of all time.
Saw him play this guitar at a concert. Killed it!
I'm surprised he has a 9.5 radius. I thought a shredder like John 5 would have a shredder 10-16 compound radius neck. Awesome! 😃🎸 You rock, John!
9.5 radius is very easy to shred with.
Glad John5 got his own signature, dude really likes tele
I was able to get one. I absolutely love it. Solid instrument
Sweet! Play it with pride.
