Bro i have one query in my LED TV dont have HDMI ARC and also don't have optical port having only analog (3.5 mm) option. But in my Tata Sky set-up box have Optical port so it possible that i can connect setup box optical port to Sony S20R optical port to get sound ? @@TheSpartanTech I have done my research and anyone going through this comment, please note that unless it mention dolby/dts on ur home theater, no matter it has hdmi or optical input, it wont support surround sound. I repeat, it wont support surround sound. In such cases, it just play as a dual stereo ie, rear L and R and front L and R.

For that you have to refer to your TV's manual and check for the type of hdmi ports or check on the TV itself that which hdmi port has "ARC" mentioned with it if not you cannot connect it with hdmi ,you will then have to go with 3.5 jack or optical audio cable . And the product has 1 year warranty which can be availed at any Sony service center

It will work as long as you have arc connect the home theater to the TV 's arc port it should work

With Philips you can get better surround as all speakers are separated but it lacks in bass and loudness for that the Sony is good

connect the fire tv to the normal hdmi of the tv and home theater to the hdmi arc of the tv
