To do this plug your USB device in, navigate to the Devices panel within Rekordbox, right-click any playlist and select Import. wearecrossfader.co.uk/blog/rekordbox-export-mode/
I think that you should do a video after you export tracks to USB drive & then plug it in with cdjs & and some tips & trick to use rekordbox on cdjs thank you.

What's the bottom right arrow "CUE/GRID/INFO"? Does that take data you've set on tracks on player and put them into RB? Also, if you were to export the file again, over the existing one does it erase all the cue points? Thanks!! Love your vids
can you add the songs directly to the playlist (as i already have them organized) rather than adding all the songs to the collection and then sort them again into playlists? thanks
check that in the usb settings (devices > USB > Sort) there you can choose what rekordbox will automatically sort. if this doesnt work make a playlist within the USB itself (in Rekordbox) then add the songs you want to the playlist (make many if you want) then you can access them on CDJs or the equipment you use
Rekordbox creates a folder called PIONEER (on your USB). This folder contains your music and the various tags/commands to allow your decks to interpret wave forms, bpm, artist, key etc. Once you plug in your USB to your setup you should be able to see all the synced files. I would also recommend creating playlists and using sync manager (like in the video). Only just solved this issue today
If you want to export to your usb device through rekordbox you will need to analyse the music. You can turn off auto analysis in rekordbox however so you don’t have to analyse your entire music library if you don’t want.
I have a quick question, I am now trying to update my existing Rekordbox library with "Mixed in Key" and my question is if I already have all of my songs loaded and exported successfully to my USB stick, but I JUST want to Update my Tags (basically have the Key of each song in the Title Name show up on the USB as it does in my Rekordbox Program now) will using the Sync Manager automatically do that? Or is there any way to Update just the Tags of my existing songs on my USB without "Re-Exporting" my entire Collection? Thank you in Advance!
Question! I'm Serato DJ and my music on the laptop is already analyzed by Serato software. I have upcoming gig and I don't want to take my laptop and controller with me. I was thinking about getting thumb drive and installing Recordbox. I was thinking about copying my music onto the thumb drive and then follow your instructions on how to import into RB, create playlists and export. Do you think that's the best way? I just don't want to mess up my serato analyzed music.
So I have all my songs on a 2TB hard drive but it’s formatted to fat32 and so is my flash drive I use as the source to export my harddrive’s track to. Thing is, when it comes to exporting, it takes literally hours to finish. Any way to speed up the exporting process faster?
One question: How do I export just few tracks? Problem I have is that I have USB with 15 playlists, and one playlist got updated with few tracks, how do I just export those 3 tracks quickly because everytime my recordbox is copying ALL playlists every time when synchronizing. I'm assuming you can just use the arrow in sync manager when adding new tracks from Rekordbox to the USB, just as you do when deleting tracks from Rekordbox that already on the USB.
Hi mate new to Rekordbox and finally gone digital. I have made a playlist and when exporting to USB it is so rapid nothing has been exported. I have managed to export a few playlists in the past, so I know that the exporting process shouldn't take 5 seconds. This is really starting to get on my nerves, Can you help an old timer.
I can't find sync manage, I'm using version 6.5.1 also one thing I've wondered is why does it take so long to export to thumb drive. even for just small numbers of tracks/playlists. *I'm very new to Rekordbox so still learning but having fun with it :), Love the channel and yep you guessed it subscribed
Make sure you have a quick USB drive and you are using the fastest USB port on your computer, it's usually the blue one. Rekordbox export speeds rely on a nice USB stick with good read/write speeds such as the Sandisk Extreme Pro models. Sync manager is shown when you're in Export mode, not performance. Hope this helps!

+Sugar Cane Records unfortunately you can't import tracks from a USB device back into rekordbox. You would have to drag and drop the contents folder from the device in your computer/finder onto your hard drive and re import to rekordbox.

If your laptop is broken , and you get a new laptop and install rekordbox on the new laptop , is there a way you can get the already rekordboxed music from the USB that you have into playlists again on the new rekordbox app on your new laptop?
+Tommy Sampson you can't really use sync manager to do that unless you make a playlist with all of your music in. You can do that by all means but eventually you may want to sub categorise your music for easier access on the decks.
Whenever i add a playlist, the songs always end up in a content file and never in the actual playlist i name them when i sync to my usb. Do you know why this is ? Do i need to add each playlist to my usb first and then sync all tunes separately in collection ? Any feedback would be appreciated 👍🏼

So if you have folders already organized, you have to create a playlist or it just put everything in one collection.

After this steps, the sync bottom will work good on xdjrx2? Couse with simple usb songs its not working

You would need to just select all the tracks using cmd/cntrl + A then right click and export.
