you can make a dirty bomb using old dozimeters: some of them has calibration source.
Or just find a reference source or specific x-ray machine.
The problem is not to find it, the problem is to properly deliver and prepare such kind of weapon.
There is no instruction manual and you had at least to be sort of scientist in specific area , that depends of weapon type.
Or you had to be at least sort of technician/military specialist to know exactly how to use those things.

Canada is apart of NORAD and first line radar for missiles or aircraft coming through the the Arctic. That's where land based and sub missiles will most likely come from.
Many Canadian cities are along the border and bases to be used as re-fueling for US nuke bombers, secondary air strips in case other are knocked out are all over Canada.
If a real nuke war happened there are a few primary targets, secondary, and thirdly are all over Canada.
At least that's Cold War era strike maps. Who knows now. But any nuclear reactors and major cities in Canada are targets.
Nukes are way easier to make than most people think. They are also not hard to find (or at least were in the 90s after soviet union collapse).
Iran certainly bought a few ready to go nukes from Kazakhstan in early 90s. They also bought a bunch of fissile material and parts and assembled their own bombs. That's why US never attacked Iran despite all the tensions.
Studying covert nature of Israeli nuclear program, I would be very surprised if Israel also didn't buy a bunch of ready to go nukes from the former soviet republics in the 90s as well.
May more countries have nukes than people think.

From what I understand, this is not an actual fission bomb, but simply a conventional explosive wrapped in radioactive dust, so it works more like a chemical weapon than an actual nuke.

The problem with that is if ONLY the government used Tor everyone would know "oh it's another agent visiting my site". So what they did is allowed the source code to be public and for people to use it so that the government agents can blend in with the crowd.
In all that software mentioned it can't be backdoored (even if it was created by the government) because the Source code is publicly available.

What he got was half of the thermonuclear core, it's only 1 half of the whole and you need both parts of the device for it to yield. Plus on top of the 2 parts you need an extreamly complex initiation charge which must work floorlessly to detonate the 2 parts correctly, this is a very expensive custom made explosive charge, each one made is installed into a nuclear weapon and cannot be removed without needing the highest levels of both security clearance, and expertise. Yes he did manage to purchase a half of a nuclear core, but with out the multitude of highly complex, very heavily restricted components, it's a paper weight with a cool story.
Probably this is the reason why we are still safe haha

1. The Soviet Union never had military presence in Bulgaria, except for some eight months right after the end of WW2.
2. The Bulgarian Armed Forces, never possessed nuclear arms. They did however possess military hardware which could be fitted to field nuclear warheads or munitions, but an actual nuclear weapon was never fielded by the Bulgarian military.
3. One does not simply "set up" a nuclear waste management company, and get all the clearances and contracts to deal with radioactive waste from the Kozloduy NPP. The process of achieving something like that, is extremely long and clumsy. Requiring a vast amount of safety checks passes and connections which would suggest corruption at the highest level of the government, involving a large number of people in the process, thus also requiring a huge amount of money. It's hardly doable.
4. The waste from the Kozloduy NPP is stored in waste vaults underground. A certain portion of that waste is sold to third parties that are well known. Those are French and Russian companies which possess the legitimacy to endure such activities and have passed all safety checks related to the process. Those companies are well known, and they have been assisting with the NPP's waste management process for years.
5. I've lived in Kozloduy for 20 years, and worked in that NPP. Some of my relatives worked there too. My uncle was a chief engineer there who was head of the nuclear waste management department for 14 years.
6. This video is a bullshit.

I don't know. People may claim they have found all sorts of bullshit, it doesn't make it true. Besides, as said, nuclear arms were never present in Bulgaria in whatever form, nor warheads nor detonators. You can also pull reports from the archive of Ministry of Defense for pretty much the entire period. Nothing suggests for the presence of nuclear arms. Fielding nuclear weapons requires special logistic equipment and measures, which undergoing would otherwise be present in documents, but nothing like that exists. The claim is just laughable. This whole phony story is laughable.

These aren't nukes. They are dirty bombs. Conventionnal bombs that scatter radioactivity. For instance, this one has an explosive force of about 1-2 tons of TNT. Nukes can go from 500 to 57 000 000 tons of TNT, since they are special implosion atom fission and fusion mechanisms that are alot more complicated.

In my country (Bulgaria) we have hookers everywhere. You can see them on highways, back streets, deserted areas, dark alleys, you name it. I mean even right now i can see a hooker near construction area next to my house.
