I'm single in a apartment and have been for almost 10yrs. So I do everything and it is overwhelming at times ,but I've just gotten used to it. Yes I do i’am 68 yrs old and my parents taught us to make are beds before we go to school and i’am very happy to say I taught my kids to do that my one son told me how grateful he was when he went into the Service there was a lot of young men that didn’t know how to make a bed !
I do 110% of it. I would love the help from my husband but he's on his phone more then helping me. I also have to cut the grass and take the trash out too. ... Your very blessed to have the help you have with your spouse. Enjoyed your video.

My husband and I are a good team I think. He does 60% of the cooking and cleaning of the kitchen and I do about 40%. He is in charge of all trash. We share all kid related task like bathing and bedtime. I do most of the laundry just because I am very particular about that, but he will wash towels and his clothes if I haven’t gotten to them yet. Overall he is a good help. We have been married almost ten years and it has taken time to get here.
This is December, 2024, I am watching this video for the first time and I will tell you that after 44 1/2 years of marriage I am sooooo picky about my housework that I am the primary care taker for our home. My husband will definitely do anything he can to help, but I will usually come along and redo it. It works better if I just do it and have him help with other things like the cars…outside work and stuff like that. You do an incredible job of things and you are balancing things and you know Chris is there if you need his help. When our children were little it helped me a lot if he would play with them while I took care of things that I needed to do.

I admire your videos and like your content and how you tackle them. I cut down on clothes by taking a bag to the Salvation Army bin when I shop at the supermarket and have only winter, summer ordinary and 'best' clothes, under fifty items. All in all I have ten pairs of shoes for everyday, heat and cold and special. I cut down on household linen and curtains and have two of each type. I gave to refuges my baking and cooking pans and all the utensils, slowly, so I have just what I like. Ditto all the mugs and crockery, plates etc. Took five years and it was worth it to give it relatively slowly to the right people. I hung onto sentimental items but sold all the jewellery I never wore, all costume to an auction house, packed in little vintage boxes. My place looks really calm not like the storm it was before and I can have people over when Covid is over for meals etc!
I do most of the cleaning but my husband has certain things that he does and helps with anything I ask him to help with. Sometimes he even does things without being asked. I try to make my bed daily but I definitely skip days. But like you, I make it before folding laundry on it!
My hubs and I have had the same conversation you have had with your hubs. He’d rather work outside and in garage and I do all the inside work and errands, cooking, laundry etc. I say we live on the inside and outside doesn’t need work every day. He is very neat and tidy so I don’t have to pick up after him which helps a lot. I work PT now and that switch has helped a lot with balancing the load. Our 12 yo daughter pitches in to help too.

My spouse does nothing 🙄 he complains really well. He’s sick all week and when Saturday gets here he feels great. That’s when he rides his Harley with his friends. I do all inside and outside work. I really don’t mind though. Love mowing the grass, I flip on the head phones and just ride. Lol
I do most of the cleaning on my week off from work and then my husband takes over on my week to work! He has always been a great help with the house work! Making the bed I love a nicely made up bed.. my husband is retired veteran and I'm a teacher I work full-time outside of the home.. So what we do is normally the last one out the bed mades it 😆.. and its always him ..Weekends as well he gets up later than me on the weekends.
Me and the kids do most of the house work like cleaning Every now and then he’ll help out with some folding or help me make the bed, he and my son take care of the trash always but my hubby is usually doing projects around the house that are just too much for me to do, So it works out great for the most part !

Hello Michelle...Happy New Year. I love your videos specially the Christmas decorations, deep cleaning, and organizing your Kitchen. Your videos are very motivating. I like watching them when I need to jump into my deep cleaning. Sometimes I will have them playing in the background as I clean. My hubby and I have always shared the day-to-day cleaning...specially the Kitchen and Laundry. He always does the outside and deals with the trash, but I always do the deep cleaning, decluttering, and organizing but because I enjoy doing it. Some of my goals this year is (1.) Get back into school by Fall 2022 and continue working on my bachelors (I just need 60 more credits which I think I can get done in 2 years), (2.) Since my dream goal is to become a published writer, I want to have a better Writing Schedule (which can be hard since I work full-time) and get a Writing Agent within this year, (3.) Lose weight and get into shape, and run 5K marathon by December (I have never run a marathon, and I have always wanted to), (4.) Re-organize my kitchen/pantry/laundry room, my office, and all our dvds (we have a lot of them), and all our pictures. (5.) Cook way more specially during the week, (6.) Watch less TV and read more (I already read a lot, but not as much as I want to),and (7.) Have way more romantic date nights with my hubby. Looking forward to watching more videos...thanks for all you do.
I make my bed before I do anything else. I believe that making my bed first thing in the morning sets my day up for success. Not only that but then I don’t have to make it later🤣

I have boys so I honestly can’t imagine the whole Barbie scene with all those accessories. My boys are grown but they did have a collection and 1/2 of action figures that came with small pieces. I grew up in a dirty household, I've cleaned since I was 9. I do not like a messy house, and I never wanted my husband and kids to be embarrassed to bring friends over. I do the inside he does outside, but we also help each other, we're a team, and if you do a little every day, no big deal. We make the bed everyday.
I am the exact same way about my bed!! I work a full time job, and my husband works part time right now. He leaves super early in the morning and gets home only 2 hours after I’ve left for work and goes back to sleep for a few hours, so it’s kind of pointless for me to make my bed until I’m ready to do laundry. 😁 As far as cleaning, I do all of it. We are currently house hunting and living in an apartment, so once we have a house, my husband will do all of the outside stuff, and I’ll do all of the inside stuff. It works well for us, though!
Yes my husband and I work together.We each have areas in the house that we do. He does yard & garage work.I do the kitchen & bath.If I sort the laundry He will help. He is color blind so I will ask him to do towels & jeans which is a help. He will vacuum & wash floors. If I cook He does dishes. If He cooks I do the dishes. We try to keep a schedule of what we clean each day. I like to plan & cook several meals a week on the weekend so meals are an easy task that He can put in the oven. A deep cleaned house is easier to keep clean longer with quick touch ups. I try to deep clean an idea once a week. I make the bed everyday & clean the bathroom everyday. I make sure that the dishes are done & the house is picked up each night before bed. I start each day with the freedom of not needing to do hours of cleaning. Having a place for everything helps so much. Your home is beautiful & you are amazing.

Fill it the way he did but add some rubbing alcohol to it. For example for a 16 ounce bottle add 2 ounces blue dawn, 1 ounce rubbing alcohol and then top off with 13 ounces of water. This will make it just like the store bought one pretty much. I love your videos! Also I have found that the spray is great at getting stains out like in your clothes or furniture, I have 3 boys and 2 dogs so yeah it works great lol. One goal of mine is to deep clean, declutter and organize my bedroom and kitchen! When I get the extra 40 dollars to get the tubs I'll be getting this done!! I'm hoping before the month is over!

Honestly Michelle, most of the time I wouldn’t work outside our home because he wouldn’t help. He has always kept a job and taken good care of us financially, so, it’s just what worked for us. I know you have a full time job and that’s a lot. 💕
My fiancé and I are a great team I think. Before, I used to do 80% of the cleaning, he would wash dishes sometimes and cook 50% of the time. Then, I got pregnant so he was doing the heavy cleaning like cleaning the bathrooom and I’ll do simple stuff like washing dishes and cleaning floors, so like 60% from me and 40% from him. He’d still cook 50% of the time. Then when I gave birth we had to change a lot of things. When I went back to work after maternity leave, he had to switch to work during the weekends to take care of our daughter during the week and I work during the week and take care of her Saturday and Sunday. Now he does 90% of the cooking and I do 100% of the cleaning. Of course sometimes he would do something here and there. Laundry has always been 50-50. Of course he does everything related to the trash lol and also outdoor stuff. I’m truly grateful for him even tho sometimes you know id get angry for stupid things. But I’m truly grateful.
We are retired and my husband helps me a lot. He vacuums, we wash clothes, he helps me cook, he helps me clean up, we make the bed. He cuts the grass and fixes things. Right now we are starting to go thru the house to declutter and organize. After that we need to go down to the basement and get that done.
Hello, I typically do all of the cleaning. My husband helps when it's needed. He does help with the dishes each night. That's pretty much the only thing I need him to help with. He knows when I'm tired so if I plan to mop the floors and he can intervene, he will.
I have been married for 34 years now, and I from day dot have done 100% the inside of house cleaning. Hubby did the long hours work and the Outside work. I was a fulltime Mum. Now we are retired, Hubby will help now and then. I must admit I did not have a messy house, I was very house proud, I cleaned as I go throughout the day so it was never overwhelming.
I would like to make my bed every morning, but with a 3yr old & 10mo old, that doesn't always happen as mornings are just chaotic. But I will agree that I like to make it before I fold laundry so I have a clean space to work on.
Yes I make my bed every day unless I plan on washing my sheets after work. Then I don't so I remember why the bed isn't made lol but generally yes. When you make your bed it already makes the room look cleaner than it really is lol
Hey Michelle. In one of your previous videos you mentioned that in 2016 you started a diet where you count macros. What was the name of the diet you used? I can't remember which video you mentioned it in previously to go back & find the info.
Hey Kristen, there wasn’t a specific diet I used but I hired an online personal trainer to help calculate my macros and followed those calculations. But there is an app called Mike’s Macros that will give you a free macro estimate based on a formula. The person who designed this app was my trainer. I went on to use My Fitness Pal to track. This helped me learn a lot about the nutrients in certain types of foods so I don’t need to track anymore (unless I’m want to be strict about it). He also designed a fitness plan based on goals. You can opt to join a challenge or find some free guides online. My number one tip would be incorporating weights that help with fat loss. Sorry I could go on and on lol

My hubby doesn't really help unless it's something I need help with. He has a full time job and a small business that he runs. Now when I do cook, he does store all of the food away because I don't like doing that!
My husband helps quite a bit. I try to do most of it just because I am so OCD and like it done a certain way, but I also do not work....if I worked still then I would 100% expect his help all of the time. I try to make my bed daily, but it doesn't always happen.
I typically do the majority of the housework inside, so cleaning, dishes, laundry, etc. My husband will help once in a while with laundry, but for the most part, it's all me. However, my husband does the majority of the housework outside, so mowing, putting the trash at the curb, landscaping, etc. I do occasionally help him with the landscaping, but for the most part, it's him. My husband really enjoys making the yard look nice, so I just kinda let him do his thing, haha. As for the bed making, yes, I make my bed every day. I've actually just got into a really good routine. If you are curious about what I do, I'll share it down below. My morning routine: I wake up in the mornings, make my coffee, and get both my boys fed and then situated. After that I go to my bedroom, make the bed and then get dressed for the day. Then, I head into my oldest son's room, tidy up, and pick him out something to wear for the day. (He's 2) Then, I head into my youngest son's room and tidy up and pick him out something to wear for the day. (He's 7 months) Then I go back into the living room and clean up any breakfast messes from my oldest, then I'll dress both boys. Then, I typically put my youngest in his walker or jumper, and my oldest will usually go play in his room or play a learning game on his tablet, which he very much enjoys. That's when I take the time to put some makeup on for the day and do something with my hair. After that, I usually play with both the boys for a good hour. We do a lot of learning games to get my oldest ready for preschool or at least on track, and it also helps my youngest. Then, we usually do quiet time. That's when I lay my youngest down for his nap, and I usually put on cartoons for my oldest while I clean up the kitchen and get laundry folded if I need to. After that, it's lunch time.
I normally do all of the house cleaning my husband does help but 7 out of 10 it's normally me. And he takes care of the outside of the home and our children will stop by and help if need it like snow or mowing . We're keeping nester we have our 20 y/o but he's the baby and suffers with anxiety and depression he dose what he 💔 can And that's 💕 .
My husband does absolutely nothing! He doesn’t clean up after himself, he’s like a two-year-old that just leaves messes everywhere he goes! But, he works his ass off every day and I’m fortunate enough to not have to work, so I don’t mind it
My 2022 Goals Health & Self are Financially stable & live more comfortably .$$ Travel more w/ hubby I Travel with my high school beastie we do girls trip ..but travel more with my husband. Last year my girlfriend's and I we went to New Orleans for my 50th birthday 🎂 . This year 🤔 not sure yet.?? Life is to short 💘. 💆♀️ message & a facial is my dream get it done 😍 for me ..

Unfortunate comments are turned off on your organizational video in your kitchen which means ppl were probably being rude, unfortunate cuz u have me alot of great ideas! I am the exact same way about my bed!! I work a full time job, and my husband works part time right now. He leaves super early in the morning and gets home only 2 hours after I’ve left for work and goes back to sleep for a few hours, so it’s kind of pointless for me to make my bed until I’m ready to do laundry. 😁 As far as cleaning, I do all of it. We are currently house hunting and living in an apartment, so once we have a house, my husband will do all of the outside stuff, and I’ll do all of the inside stuff. It works well for us, though!
Yes my husband and I work together.We each have areas in the house that we do. He does yard & garage work.I do the kitchen & bath.If I sort the laundry He will help. He is color blind so I will ask him to do towels & jeans which is a help. He will vacuum & wash floors. If I cook He does dishes. If He cooks I do the dishes. We try to keep a schedule of what we clean each day. I like to plan & cook several meals a week on the weekend so meals are an easy task that He can put in the oven. A deep cleaned house is easier to keep clean longer with quick touch ups. I try to deep clean an idea once a week. I make the bed everyday & clean the bathroom everyday. I make sure that the dishes are done & the house is picked up each night before bed. I start each day with the freedom of not needing to do hours of cleaning. Having a place for everything helps so much. Your home is beautiful & you are amazing.

Fill it the way he did but add some rubbing alcohol to it. For example for a 16 ounce bottle add 2 ounces blue dawn, 1 ounce rubbing alcohol and then top off with 13 ounces of water. This will make it just like the store bought one pretty much. I love your videos! Also I have found that the spray is great at getting stains out like in your clothes or furniture, I have 3 boys and 2 dogs so yeah it works great lol.
One goal of mine is to deep clean, declutter and organize my bedroom and kitchen! When I get the extra 40 dollars to get the tubs I'll be getting this done!! I'm hoping before the month is over!

Honestly Michelle, most of the time I wouldn’t work outside our home because he wouldn’t help. He has always kept a job and taken good care of us financially, so, it’s just what worked for us. I know you have a full time job and that’s a lot. 💕

My fiancé and I are a great team I think. Before, I used to do 80% of the cleaning, he would wash dishes sometimes and cook 50% of the time. Then, I got pregnant so he was doing the heavy cleaning like cleaning the bathrooom and I’ll do simple stuff like washing dishes and cleaning floors, so like 60% from me and 40% from him. He’d still cook 50% of the time. Then when I gave birth we had to change a lot of things. When I went back to work after maternity leave, he had to switch to work during the weekends to take care of our daughter during the week and I work during the week and take care of her Saturday and Sunday. Now he does 90% of the cooking and I do 100% of the cleaning. Of course sometimes he would do something here and there. Laundry has always been 50-50. Of course he does everything related to the trash lol and also outdoor stuff. I’m truly grateful for him even tho sometimes you know id get angry for stupid things. But I’m truly grateful.
We are retired and my husband helps me a lot. He vacuums, we wash clothes, he helps me cook, he helps me clean up, we make the bed. He cuts the grass and fixes things. Right now we are starting to go thru the house to declutter and organize. After that we need to go down to the basement and get that done.

Hello, I typically do all of the cleaning. My husband helps when it's needed. He does help with the dishes each night. That's pretty much the only thing I need him to help with. He knows when I'm tired so if I plan to mop the floors and he can intervene, he will.

I have been married for 34 years now, and I from day dot have done 100% the inside of house cleaning. Hubby did the long hours work and the Outside work. I was a fulltime Mum. Now we are retired, Hubby will help now and then. I must admit I did not have a messy house, I was very house proud, I cleaned as I go throughout the day so it was never overwhelming.

I do most of the housework, but my husband is gone with work alot he works construction and he travels. But when he is home he helps alot.
I would like to make my bed every morning, but with a 3yr old & 10mo old, that doesn't always happen as mornings are just chaotic. But I will agree that I like to make it before I fold laundry so I have a clean space to work on.
My husband does a good 90 percent of the household chores.

Yes I make my bed every day unless I plan on washing my sheets after work. Then I don't so I remember why the bed isn't made lol but generally yes. When you make your bed it already makes the room look cleaner than it really is lol

Hey Michelle. In one of your previous videos you mentioned that in 2016 you started a diet where you count macros. What was the name of the diet you used? I can't remember which video you mentioned it in previously to go back & find the info.
Hey Kristen, there wasn’t a specific diet I used but I hired an online personal trainer to help calculate my macros and followed those calculations. But there is an app called Mike’s Macros that will give you a free macro estimate based on a formula. The person who designed this app was my trainer. I went on to use My Fitness Pal to track. This helped me learn a lot about the nutrients in certain types of foods so I don’t need to track anymore (unless I’m want to be strict about it). He also designed a fitness plan based on goals. You can opt to join a challenge or find some free guides online. My number one tip would be incorporating weights that help with fat loss. Sorry I could go on and on lol

My hubby doesn't really help unless it's something I need help with. He has a full time job and a small business that he runs. Now when I do cook, he does store all of the food away because I don't like doing that!
I do 100% of the house work. And run are trucking company and he drives the truck and helps when I need it.
My husband helps quite a bit. I try to do most of it just because I am so OCD and like it done a certain way, but I also do not work....if I worked still then I would 100% expect his help all of the time. I try to make my bed daily, but it doesn't always happen.

I typically do the majority of the housework inside, so cleaning, dishes, laundry, etc. My husband will help once in a while with laundry, but for the most part, it's all me. However, my husband does the majority of the housework outside, so mowing, putting the trash at the curb, landscaping, etc. I do occasionally help him with the landscaping, but for the most part, it's him. My husband really enjoys making the yard look nice, so I just kinda let him do his thing, haha. As for the bed making, yes, I make my bed every day. I've actually just got into a really good routine. If you are curious about what I do, I'll share it down below.
My morning routine: I wake up in the mornings, make my coffee, and get both my boys fed and then situated. After that I go to my bedroom, make the bed and then get dressed for the day. Then, I head into my oldest son's room, tidy up, and pick him out something to wear for the day. (He's 2) Then, I head into my youngest son's room and tidy up and pick him out something to wear for the day. (He's 7 months) Then I go back into the living room and clean up any breakfast messes from my oldest, then I'll dress both boys. Then, I typically put my youngest in his walker or jumper, and my oldest will usually go play in his room or play a learning game on his tablet, which he very much enjoys. That's when I take the time to put some makeup on for the day and do something with my hair. After that, I usually play with both the boys for a good hour. We do a lot of learning games to get my oldest ready for preschool or at least on track, and it also helps my youngest. Then, we usually do quiet time. That's when I lay my youngest down for his nap, and I usually put on cartoons for my oldest while I clean up the kitchen and get laundry folded if I need to. After that, it's lunch time.

I have always done it all. Been married 57 years.
I normally do all of the house cleaning my husband does help but 7 out of 10 it's normally me. And he takes care of the outside of the home and our children will stop by and help if need it like snow or mowing . We're keeping nester we have our 20 y/o but he's the baby and suffers with anxiety and depression he dose what he 💔 can And that's 💕 .
We are all in this together and glad we have a community for all of the things and cleaning we do!

I was really just wanting to know what kinfmd of hand held vaccum u used in your kitchen organization video?! Unfortunate comments are turned off on your organizational video in your kitchen which means ppl were probably being rude, unfortunate cuz u have me alot of great ideas! I don't understand why ppl are whining, if you're watching a video it means you're looking for ideas on how to your house so why complain & knock ppl down? Ppl are just rude, it sucks.
My husband will offer to help but, when I start cleaning he will disappear. But, if I give him specific tasks to do he will do them.

I do most of the cleaning, including mopping the floor everyday, laundry, take out the trash, cooking, etc.. as well as taking care of our 8 high energy dogs (my husband works and I take care of organizing breeding pairs for our purebreds/sales of the babies)……definitely no maid/nannies here, I find that ridiculous especially for a sahm! I’m not a super woman I just get it done! Sorry not sorry🤷♀️
