Acrylic pour painting with three colors - reflex orange - black and gold- easy for pouring beginner

- When acrylic pouring you can make great pictures with a few colors. Pouring beginners in particular often do not know which colors to start with, which also fit well together. That's why I'm starting a new series - acrylic pouring with only three colors.
In this first video, I took strong colors: neon orange, bright gold and black.
To create cells, a few drops of silicone oil were stirred in orange and gold.
If you do not like cells, just leave the silicone oil away. Then I would put the orange and gold first in the watering cup.
With such dark colors, it is important to pre-paint the edges, otherwise the bright canvas shimmers through.

I may be the only one, but I LOVE cells! I feel that they add a definite uniqueness
to the art. To someone that doesn't know how they are achieved, it just lends a touch of mystery.

I don’t know why everyone is complaining about the cells. Obviously the artist likes them, and so do I. Everyone has different opinions but y’all dont need to make every comment about how you wish they did THEIR art different. Appreciate them for taking the time to show us how great they are and how much they enjoy what they do.

Lol well if you do want some tips on how NOT to get cells: only mix your paint with water or a medium that does not create cells (I personally use Van Bleiswijk medium) and make sure not to add silicone oils~ My experience is using a torch will create cells, so if you want to get rid of airbubbles: give it some time and use a hairdyer at a larger distance to the canvas.

Hot air over complicated it. Also i felt a tinge of flourescent would have been nice. Cell effect is too messy

Hello from Ireland! 😃 I've had an unexpected break from my painting and pouring due to ill health recently but I was intrigued by the colours you used here and excited to see the result. I usually don't like orange, so it was a surprise to me that I absolutely loved what you created here using such a vibrant tone. So much so that I've decided to get pouring again this week. I didn't think I would like the orange because it's so neon, but then the orange is the best part! Some red in there would've looked good too I think!

This is perfect for halloween. When you were using the hot air gun, I could see the image of a frog with shoulder length, blonde hair, sunglasses and a top hat in the lower left hand corner of the picture..... and no I haven't been drinking! LOL Thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us.
