Brian, I'm so glad that you followed up and made the Minor Triad lesson too! I learned so much from the Major Triad lesson. Thanks for making this video!

Brian.. another great lesson that takes it above and beyond!! Again, so many videos lack what you just demonstrated. Noting/showing the changes on the screen was a huge visual aide! I was glued to your lesson from start to end!! Thank you Sir!

Brilliant lesson. Love the graphics while playing in real time. The clue to the song title was discretely referred to by use of the "staircase" shape.😉

Thanks Brian - great lesson. I'll be joining up - not so much for what I can learn but for what you have already shown me! Line Cliche - I had never heard of it until I recently saw another video (PD) on "My Funny Valentine"... it uses it too... doubt that is still in copyright... anyway thanks so much (will take a few weeks to process all the information)

Oh my gosh, Brian...I am NOT ready to start thinking about relative minors of different Major chords! (While I'm still trying to get the hang of all this other stuff!)
Yes, I'm doing quite well on my actual playing technique, but I'm still having trouble remembering the "Circle of Fifths" and such...!
In other words, playing the notes is one thing, but doing that while thinking about theory is another.
I am making progress, however! Thanks to you!
    👍 👌
PS: I've gotta say, I LOVE how you wrapped it all up, the 2 lessons on triads (and related revelations), where you played a song and annotated (overlaid) what you were playing on top of the video.
That was GREAT! It really brought the 2 lessons home for me.
I've also gotta say that you're doing a LOT of work making these lessons! I mean, I keep making up all kinds of nice sounding songs that I want to "take somewhere," but the next day I can't even remember lots of them! Plus you're making and editing videos, making (and tabbing out) the "jam tracks" and all the rest of the materials.... I mean, it must be a Full Time job!
    (An awesome FT job!)
I hope you're getting paid (by us) as much as you should be, plus all the fun you must be having....
At least you're getting enough to buy lots of guitars, anyway...! Lucky dude!
See?! All that hard work you've put in over the years really is paying off.
I'm thrilled for ya! Keep it up!

This is a GREAT lesson! Thank you. A couple of suggestion. in the min 7:14 (And the you come up to the C shape) I think you meant to the D shape. And the last one is: For some reason mi mind needs the graphics upside down like matching the fretboard of your guitar I think it would be so much easier to understand the shapes that way. I am finally learning this CAGED system. I think this last two lessons are the best you can find on the net by far. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

At the 7:14 mark that’s the C shape - that Triange triad is in both the C and D shape

Once I know lesson 1 & 2 of Triads are amazing, how do I tie it all together with the underlining pentatonic (And diatonic) scales? Do you have a lesson on your site I can reference for that? Triads, pentatonic and diatonic together?

For such a good teacher, maybe the best on TH-cam, I can’t understand why your fret board diagrams are upside down and backwards. What’s up with that? Makes it really hard to follow.

Nice guitar but if that's a Fender copy I hope the company gets sued out of existence. I've never seen a Fender model based on a particular player (e.g. Eric Clapton or David Gilmore) that doesn't have the Fender logo on the front of the headstock. Although the first part of the name does look like it reads "Dave....."
