It should not be normalised. One persons beauty is ugly to another. Someone isn't staked because their beautiful, they're staked because someone stalks them. My sister had a stalker. Her ex boyfriend. I was maybe 5 or 6, so she was around 15 or 16 at the time. We were home alone, she was babysitting me, like she usually did when our mom went to work. Her ex boyfriend came over but she wouldn't let him in. He had been showing up a lot, sometimes really late at night, leaving her notes or knocking on her bedroom window. One time he tried sneaking through the window and she caught him. Anyways, that night, she didn't want me to be scared so she stepped onto the porch and was talking with him. Suddenly he grabbed her and was kissing her on her face and neck and trying to pull her off to the side so I couldn't see. She pushed him off and tried coming back in, but he grabbed her by the hand and was pulling her back. I distinctly remember watching this and being concerned, but she was trying to force a smile and tell me it's fine don't worry. Eventually I heard her yell STOP and I ran outside and started punching and hitting him in the legs. Surprisingly he didn't hurt me or her, he just kind of stopped when he saw me there crying and hitting him, and he walked off.

Once I had a stalker who threw cigarette packs on my balcony (one time, he had written his cellphone number on a piece of paper inserted inside the box). Other times, I'd feel weird sitting on the bench of that balcony late at night coz I'd have an eerie sense of someone watching me--I confirmed this when I had seen flashes coming from the bushes a few feet away from where I was. He was taking photos of me late at night--I hadn't gone to that balcony for a long time. There had also been times when he'd bump into me "coincidentally" near our house; Him claiming that he was just about to buy stuff from a nearby store but saw me and wanted to talk for a bit. Uh-huh Mkayyy. Sure enough, I started locking myself in the house more, drawing the curtains of the house, I would go out of the house only if necessary, and we made it a point that my boyfriend be around me constantly so Mr. stalker would back off. I was 21 that time I think and he was around 40-ish years old (I'm 24 now). I was planning to call the police on him, but I found out that he had moved out. Creeeeeeeeepy. People laugh when they hear how crazy some of these people are...but really, it's nerve wracking. I cried so much and I was so scared for my life. It was mentally and emotionally exhausting.

My sister had a stalker. Her ex boyfriend. I was maybe 5 or 6, so she was around 15 or 16 at the time. We were home alone, she was babysitting me, like she usually did when our mom went to work. Her ex boyfriend came over but she wouldn't let him in. He had been showing up a lot, sometimes really late at night, leaving her notes or knocking on her bedroom window. One time he tried sneaking through the window and she caught him. Anyways, that night, she didn't want me to be scared so she stepped onto the porch and was talking with him. Suddenly he grabbed her and was kissing her on her face and neck and trying to pull her off to the side so I couldn't see. She pushed him off and tried coming back in, but he grabbed her by the hand and was pulling her back. I distinctly remember watching this and being concerned, but she was trying to force a smile and tell me it's fine don't worry. Eventually I heard her yell STOP and I ran outside and started punching and hitting him in the legs. Surprisingly he didn't hurt me or her, he just kind of stopped when he saw me there crying and hitting him, and he walked off.

Once I had a stalker who threw cigarette packs on my balcony (one time, he had written his cellphone number on a piece of paper inserted inside the box). Other times, I'd feel weird sitting on the bench of that balcony late at night coz I'd have an eerie sense of someone watching me--I confirmed this when I had seen flashes coming from the bushes a few feet away from where I was. He was taking photos of me late at night--I hadn't gone to that balcony for a long time.
There had also been times when he'd bump into me "coincidentally" near our house; Him claiming that he was just about to buy stuff from a nearby store but saw me and wanted to talk for a bit. Uh-huh Mkayyy.
Sure enough, I started locking myself in the house more, drawing the curtains of the house, I would go out of the house only if necessary, and we made it a point that my boyfriend be around me constantly so Mr. stalker would back off.
I was 21 that time I think and he was around 40-ish years old (I'm 24 now). I was planning to call the police on him, but I found out that he had moved out. Creeeeeeeeepy.
People laugh when they hear how crazy some of these people are...but really, it's nerve wracking. I cried so much and I was so scared for my life. It was mentally and emotionally exhausting.
