Gremio did not get relegated, it was Santos. Gremio was 2nd in the championship. They had been relegated in 2021, played Serie B last year and finished 2nd this year with Suarez onboard.

They started at serie D and managed to reach Serie B, which is crazy to me. Tombense and Novorizontino played at Série B (second division) this year. Novorizontino was pretty close to get an ascension to first division... they finished in 5th, and they will play again at second division in 2024. Tombense finished in 18th, and got a relegation... they will play at Serie C (third division) next year.
Both are minor clubs in their states (Tombense at Minas Gerais and Novorizontino at São Paulo), so they used to play at the lower national divisions.
6:35 I believe the main reason for that is because the video takes goals from "Série A" all the way down to "Série D", and yes, some of the best goals in there are actually from "Série D", and actually in 2015 the Puskas Award was given to a player of Série D.
Biggest proof Brazilians take football as an art, not just as a sport is that even the low-skilled players still give us some of our most beautiful goals when they have the opportunity.

For all non-Brazilians watching this. There is one thing you should know about Brazilian football:
We are a huge country, so it was pretty much impossible to have a unified League (1959 but only with a few teams, then from 67 and on a proper League was created) back in the early days. Thus, the solution was playing mostly State championships in order to make it feasible. These state championships are stay played until the current days, so when you watch highlights of a Brazilian team spanking the other, there is a chance that is a Série A team playing against a non division team for the state championship.
Grêmio relegated last year, he got up again, and on 2023 he was on Série A, signed suárez, and finished second on Brasileirão after a relegation year

And there was also Tiquinho. Suarez was too big of a name for too much of a regular performance, being surpassed by other players.
