Wish I could find a water ski partner that wouldn't mind a beginner tagging along. I put an ad on the 'activities' section of CL but the replies I got were, um, not what I was looking for.
If you try some slower speeds like 15mph, keep your knees slightly squeezed, and your shoulders behind your butt, you will feel more control. Once you feel in control, you can speed up a bit. Try not to let the driver over accelerate. If you link me to a video, I will be happy to help you further. :)

Honestly the most important thing is to not be afraid of getting up, if you are you will faceplant. Believe that you will get up and you will get up, seriously.
I seem to be able to get up on skis but it is wrong im sure lol. Im always kinda fighting to get up on skis. Like I can get up but it would be nice to get up with a better technique or less of a fight anyways.

I think you should say some think about where your feet and the position of the skis to get up to start with, great video tho, please don't take my comment as bad, if I had my feet / skis more flat to the water I might have got up on the skis to start with.
i suck so much at water skiing i cant even get up it took me like 8 tries, on the 5th try i could get up slightly but then my legs were splitting so i let go of the rope. i tried on the bar next to the boat and i stood for a while but then when i stood i always bent my arms and i fell. i suck hahaha
@beanssissy1235z, you would be surprised how many people have more than enough power in their boat and get hurt and discouraged because they do not have the correct information. It sounds like you might be a natural :)

Guys, improve your ski skills does not have to be difficult (I used to think it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program called Avalorexon Training Program (do a google search). Seriously, thanks to Avalorexon Training Program I've improve my ski skills. I probably shouldn't even be talking about it cause I don't want a bunch of other guys out there running the same "game" but whatever, I'm in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.

Wish I could find a water ski partner that wouldn't mind a beginner tagging along. I put an ad on the 'activities' section of CL but the replies I got were, um, not what I was looking for.

If you try some slower speeds like 15mph, keep your knees slightly squeezed, and your shoulders behind your butt, you will feel more control. Once you feel in control, you can speed up a bit. Try not to let the driver over accelerate. If you link me to a video, I will be happy to help you further. :)

The first time I ever tryed to stand up on skiis I done it the first time and was skiing for about five minutes before I finaly fell off :)

Honestly the most important thing is to not be afraid of getting up, if you are you will faceplant. Believe that you will get up and you will get up, seriously.
I seem to be able to get up on skis but it is wrong im sure lol. Im always kinda fighting to get up on skis. Like I can get up but it would be nice to get up with a better technique or less of a fight anyways.

I think you should say some think about where your feet and the position of the skis to get up to start with, great video tho, please don't take my comment as bad, if I had my feet / skis more flat to the water I might have got up on the skis to start with.
i like it.
i suck so much at water skiing i cant even get up it took me like 8 tries, on the 5th try i could get up slightly but then my legs were splitting so i let go of the rope. i tried on the bar next to the boat and i stood for a while but then when i stood i always bent my arms and i fell. i suck hahaha

@beanssissy1235z, you would be surprised how many people have more than enough power in their boat and get hurt and discouraged because they do not have the correct information. It sounds like you might be a natural :)

Guys, improve your ski skills does not have to be difficult (I used to think it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program called Avalorexon Training Program (do a google search). Seriously, thanks to Avalorexon Training Program I've improve my ski skills. I probably shouldn't even be talking about it cause I don't want a bunch of other guys out there running the same "game" but whatever, I'm in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.
