      I think you need to analyze better. On the timing out route. The ball was about 1 second late. If it was on time the wr would have had time and room to turn his body up field and get a few more yards. But instead he ran out of room as soon as he caught the ball and was out of bounds with no additional yards. The very next play. Yes love throws a bullet. But who cares if he can if he's always making poor decisions like that. Finally love lacks 1 key ability. He struggles to float the ball into position. When DBs have close coverage on a wr going deep love has a hard time throwing that ball that goes over the db and comes down in the WRs hands. You know. The throw we've seen 1000000 times from rodgers. Love just doesn't have that tool in his tool box.

      @@JDoe-gf5oz , he's an athlete and not a god. I don't think people turned on him so much as people began to speak out on his bs once he was no longer with the team. Being a great football player doesn't mean you can lie and put your franchise in awkward positions, and no one can call you out because you won a lot of games. That's not real life, that's fantasy life for groupies, fanboys and fangirls. While I appreciate all he did in GB I also recognize he was compensated with over $250 million dollars for the work he put in. I'm a Packer fan first and foremost and over the decades many players have come and gone but my allegiance to my franchise is always the same. I fully support all the players on my favorite team regardless of their stature within the organization. Rodgers is petty and hasn't spoken to his family in over 20 years and goes through a ton of relationships because of his pettiness. Holding a grudge against your team that paid you and drafted you because they drafted your replacement 18 years later is nothing more than hurt feelings and pettiness. Packer fans are loyal to the franchise and not individual players who dump on the franchise. Most were only fans of Rodgers because he played for GB, not because his name is Aaron Rodgers.

    I absolutely agree! I have been an avid NFL/Packer fan for over 60 years well versed in the Packers tradition of great quarterbacking. Not only does Love possess outstanding athletic and arm ability and above average intelligence but he is humble and hard working. Necessary traits to be a great leader ( which a quarterback needs to be). I don't expect him to "wow" like Mahomes or Marino but I think with the targets the Packers have provided him (including the 2 rookie tight ends) , he will suprise the doubters. If the Packers had a decent defensive coordinator they would probably challenge for a playoff spot. Maybe next year .

    I think you did a good job explaining the good points of Jlove. The one thing I have seen negative is throwing slightly behind the receiver at times and db's will see that on film and defend him that way. Number of wins is 10+. Look for Tight End slants and running back slants and this will open up the field. If this becomes the case the Packers will win 13 games, but that is predicated on Joe Berry becoming a good coach. If he is the same as last year he needs to be fired after 3 games.

    From the limited sample size it looks like Jordan could have a very good career. Having the luxury to develop before being thrown into the game appears to have helped Jordan improve his mechanics. Aaron had the ability to scramble and extend plays but with age he had lost that part of his game, Jordan has that ability and arm strength to add that into game plans. The one thing I hope Jordan learns is to have his feet leave the ground while throwing under pressure like Aaron had developed, that extended Aaron's career and should extend Jordan's.

Think Rams with Goff (Lafleur was their OC in 2017 when they had the #1 scoring offense in the NFL) or 49ers with Jimmy G. Both had great run games and offenses that didnt depend on elite qb play. Jordan had fine mechanics coming out of college and he has not changed anything . His footwork and timing was his college issue and every scout said he would be an NFL star if he sat . He sat. So we scouting him are probably about to be proven right.

    • @TheBottomLineView
      @TheBottomLineView  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      He was erratic throwing the ball a bit in college. You would see him sky balls and throw with some inconsistency . Sometimes amazing passes sometimes not so much. He’s improved other things as well but i think he also got more consistent throwing the ball to where he wants it

    • @heyohworld4067

      This was definitely the best case scenario for him; sitting behind a first ballot HoFer for a few years. His mechanics have definitely changed since he came into the league. He's modeled his game after Rodgers to an uncanny degree.

      @@TheBottomLineView footwork issues are the big issue with his college inaccuracy . In fact his footwork was abismal in college. His footwork was not great until the Packers hired Tom Clements who looks to have taught him a better way to time his feet with his shoulders when he throws . We will all see soon enough . We know nothing real about Jordan until he gets starting work. WE can all argue his merrits after this coming season but not before . We have no idea what the Packers have turned him into just yet. Not even for those of us who watch him in practices each week know.
      We all thought Brett Hundley had figured it out at a high level too. He looked like an NFL star starter in practice right up until he started .

    • @williamhermann6635

      Funny thing about mechanics is they can look off when a young qb is actually thinking about them. But after enough reps those mechanics become like 2nd nature and then it starts to click. Then the player is thinking about the play instead of his mechanics which is usually when the game starts to slow down for them. Thats exactly what we saw vs the Eagles. He finally put it all together. Mechanics were sound, played on time and in rhythm, and the game wasnt too fast for him. Im expecting big things moving forward.

    I've been a Packer fan since the beginning of the Lombardi era and I think Jordan Love will be very good for the Packers. They kept Rodgers around a year too long. As soon as Aaron decided he should campaign against Brian Gutekunst they should have taken aggressive action. Ever since that dismal playoff loss to the 49ers in Jan 2022 Aaron was playing high school ball, and his crappy attitude seemed to infect everyone. I suspect Matt LeFleur was also very happy with Rodgers' departure, and Matt's excellence as a coach will become obvious with Jordan Love under center. I would also bet anyone a nickel that Rodgers' season in NY will be the end of his NFL career. Rodgers won't suit up for the 2024-25 season ... if the NFL even exists in a year.

    As a Packers fan you have to be excited about Jordan Love, but let's be realistic. The dark times of the 70's, 80's and early 90's are back. After 2 generations of HOF quarterback play, a large number of Packer fans don't know anything about sub par QB play. Love isnt the worst quarterback out there, but he's average at best and the Packers will struggle as a result. Look what happend last year WITH Aaron Rodgers. Love wont have a better statistical season than what Rodgers had last season.

      @@TheBottomLineView His biggest knock coming out of college was inaccuracy . He throws some of the worst passes between his brilliant passes. He is not what I would call an accuracy master. He is a good thrower but he is in the Josh Allen range for accuracy . Which is plenty good enough. He will miss more than Aaron did but so will every QB who ever played . Jordan has ability to throw good balls but he is not pinpoint . He is famous for being inaccurate in college and so far in 3 years of practices with the Packers. If you attended any camp events the past 3 seasons you saw how nuts his accuracy can get. He is statistically fine when it comes to competitions and it will serve him fine in the NFL . No one is calling him a accuracy master but that is fine because the rest of his game is strong enough to carry through. I have now watched every snap Jordan has ever taken as a QB and I see all everyone likes about his game. However I also see all the things he will struggle with and accuracy is #1 and #2 for Jordan .
