*Today's Journey*
Started the day with breakfast at the hostel before tackling 20 km of steep but scenic hills on the way to the ferry. The short ride across cost just 50 cents, but once on the other side, the landscape quickly shifted to an industrial zone with rough roads and heavy truck traffic. The next 20 km into Hai Phong was a challenge, but as I got closer, the streets became livelier with shops reopening after Tết. I searched for a SIM card, eventually finding one at VinMart for $25, giving me 5GB of data per day-perfect for keeping up with my vlogs.
As night fell, I found a small capsule hostel and parked my bike in a nearby lot for 50 cents. After grabbing a simple $2 meal, I wandered through the now-bustling streets, amazed at how much had changed since last week. Back at the hostel, I spent some time working on my blog and figuring out how to streamline the process. My audience is small, but I keep going-for a few friends, my mom, and myself. Another day on the road awaits, so it’s time to rest up and get ready for the next adventure!
