Thanks for checking in. Everyone needs a break. It’s finally stopped raining in SoCal so I’ve done more walking and chatting with neighbors which means less stitching time. It’s so pretty out and the ocean is beautiful. The air smells so fresh and I can open my windows and doors again. I’m glad you are happy with your house. I moved from Burbank to coastal Orange County eight years ago after I retired. I still love it here as much as I did when I moved. Love your ornament with its bright colors. Enjoy spring and check in when you feel like it.
Oh yes! I’ve gone through a month long no stitch time, just now picking it back up when I want to, knowing it will come back on its own. Take your time! Thank you for checking in. 🧵🪡☮️🌷

I am so glad to see you. You make my day so much better. I understand about the lack of stitching & spring. My clients & I are getting out garden beds ready for planting. We have gotten some plants but are caring for them in the garage & also have tried for the first time starting some from seeds. I would LOVE a segment or 2 on your gardening if your stitching is low. My knitting is low right now. I have one thing that is on my needles that I have had a hard time wanting to finish but need to. I love spinning yarn at this time of year because I can do it outside & there is something about spinning that is so loving and meditative.

Glad to see you! I had a week or two where I did no stitching - visiting family, yard work, etc. and now all I want to do is stitch all day...and stay out of the pollen, as my hay fever is acting up. Hope the deck building goes exactly as you want it.

Thank you for a happy chuckle, your Spring Has Sprung reminded me of a luttle car ride with hubby, he's not talking as much, kind of rattled all the time. Well we stopped at a light and out of the blue he recited the entire gem, right to the the funny thing, i always thought the wing was on the bird ☺️. Then he was gone again. But it was awesome. I have alway appreciated you and your thoughtfulness. Bless you and yours. Btw, i have a black cat, rescue, huge, eye challenges (I'd sure like to see what shee sees, when young she was SO flighty and ran into things at high speed, jumped from and fell from crazy hights. Now at about 3, she's a beauty but takes no nonsense from anyone or anything. Hilarious sometimes, scarey others. Never dull around here!!

I know what you mean about losing your stitchy bug It happened with my quilting bug and I turned to cross stitch until the quilting bug returned! I did read somewhere where if you can no longer express yourself in a craft area to turn to another creative outlet and it will help return energy to the one you began to feel stale. It does take some time. So go be free and creative! Thank you for checking in! (for some reason when you showed that scare crow, I saw you in that outfit dancing!) : )

Hi Chris! I view stitching as an Art. I have painted in the past then started to Cross Stitch. I aspire to work on my projects every day but must be in the "correct" frame of mind to be happiest. Just check in once and awhile.

Good to see you again, Chris! I had forgotten what a gorgeous black kitty you have. Are your magnolias the "tulip tree" kind that put out blooms first and leaves later? We have several scattered around my part of town and to me they always say that spring is around the corner.
My stitchy bug has come back but is taking its own sweet time getting back up to speed.

LOL I always lose my stitchy bug around this time too. I want to be outside planning my garden and cleaning up from the spring storms that roll through after being inside most of the winter. I'll get back into it full throttle come fall but spring and summer really cuts in on my stitching time.

Great to see you Chris! I know what you mean, I've been gardening during the day and stitching some at night. Haven't touched my sewing machine all year but plan to before summer. Sometimes we have to prioritize esp. for a deck and spa so you can use it in season. Sounds fun! 🌷🐝🌸🐞🌻
