Your video showing your red (and reddish) roses reminds me of the famous poem by the Scottish poet, Robert Burns: “A red, red rose.” Before I started watching your videos, I had always thought that red was the most popular color and indeed the quintessential color for roses just because my knowledge of roses was so influenced by Robert Burns’ famous poem. Now I realize that roses of other colors are also beautiful and probably even more popular than red roses. Still I’m glad that you introduce your red roses to us, appropriately in the month of June, the very month which Burns mentions in his poem. Red rose resemble love in Chinese culture too. I am not sure if “Rose” in English means red roses. In Chinese, rose (玫瑰） originally means a jewel in red color. Roses are discovered and loved by ancient Chinese people. When they saw the flower rose, they felt they are as pretty as the jewel rose, therefore they named it rose.

一半一半。舊的區都有澆灌系統，新開發的花圃則還沒裝。我一週施一次水溶肥，所以還是常常手動澆水，澆一次要兩個鐘頭。

我也有一个说愁，3年了，表现非常不好，花期短，1-2天就谢了，容易生病，想拔掉她，但一直下不了手。
說愁單花花期是不長，但是花陸續開，整體花量不錯欸！試試給它全日照的位置，它應該不會生病才是。
我因為喜歡，養了兩棵。
