Local leaders demand answers, call for audit of The Animal Foundation

- Local leaders are angry and demanding answers from The Animal Foundation in the wake of a 13 investigation. Pet owners and insiders came forward to expose concerning conditions at the shelter. Something officials say was kept secret from them.
We just got our dog sooo glad we got him and he is soooo happy at our home
like the story of the Dewey Animal Shelter one would think the Foundation wouldn't be that bad
the ppl at the top shouldn't be allowed to make that much money.
An audit needs to be done for all 3 shelters every year (like we have to do our taxes every year)
I wish more locals cared 😭
How could they do that to the animals? This makes me sick to my stomach. 😢

I have been there and people working there do it for the love of the animals, I think they are understaffed and have been so for a long time, they are not willingly causing this situation. People are quick to judge. how about volunteer to help out rather than criticising and pointing fingers from the comfort of ones home.
I'm so relieved this is happening, corruption is running the show there obviously. Good job city council members!
So many companies pay the employees that do all the hard work $10 per hour and the Executives 6 figures. 🤷♀️💵

Could (a) miser(s) have kicked out the staff, and kept all the money that was donated for himself/herself, themselves?

6/16/22 You let people get away with things like this, and now there's 3 cases of people abusing animals in one week.
@1:45 this lady should be appointed to the top of this Shelter, seems to me, she cares... $10 per hr, that’s the joke on the CEO that made $240,000 + per yr not counting Pension and Medical and who knows, some 401K.
The good ppl are out there, go get them, go to the park, watch ppl that walking the dogs 🐩 offer job, you see...
Trust me, I used to go around looking for good employees in crazy places.
Animals has no voice, we need to stepped in, regardless...God bless us all.
Don't trust these guys, a friend of mine had to give up his 1 year old dog because he was moving and couldn't take her. Constantly checking the site to see when she was adopted, finally her picture was gone, he called the foundation and they put the dog down

It all starts with the city, when they stopped inspections of the place. No inspections means no care of the animals or buildings.
When my mom got her dog from there, Vet said if we didn't come in the 1st day, we got her, she would have died.
She was dehydrated an sinus infection an cough an I wish we could have went back an got her bother! Also dog was younger then we were told, an only 7wks old when they said she was 12wks old an THIS WAS IN 1986, STILL THE SAME in 2021 WTF? DO BETTER
