For me I replaced coin battery with new one. Moved old ram into other slot (Laptop battery out 1st). Instructions: Then with both batteries out, hold power to 10 seconds, then put both batteries back in. Turn on laptop, should then get 4 beeps (didn't boot). Hold power button for about 30 seconds, then push power button again (don't skip prior step). Should boot normally. After boot, shut down again. Both batteries out. Put in new ram in other open slot. Repeat steps from 'Instructions:'
I had the same exact problem and followed the procedure. After I removed the bottom ram module and replaced the cmos battery I still got the four beep codes. when I switched the ram module with another one on the TOP slot the issue went away. I then installed a different module for the bottom ram slot. Again, no issue. I think the original ram module that was in the top slot was defective. I think the same thing is true in this video. He instructs you to put that ram module (the one that caused the beep) back into the laptop... DO NOT DO THAT. You'll have to install a different one.
My Dell 1501 beeped continuously on startup. I removed the keyboard and beeping went away. So I clicked every key several times, cleaned with compressed air, cleaned the ribbon cable with alcohol, reassembled and all is working. 2007 laptop 4GB Ram, now running WIN 10 20H2.Bottom line -it could just be a stuck key. Clean and re-seat everything before trashing.
Your laptop beeps so nicely, and mine is like a bull dog barking ..
lmao xD😂😅
Haaaaahaaaa

His laptop: boop boop boop boop...

could you use the laptop with just 1 ram?
@@jadenpeterson6537 That would work, but you will experience worse performance.
@@BlueSparkzVideos oh ok also i just noticed that it still beeps 4 times does that mean i have to replace something?
@@jadenpeterson6537 check to make sure your cmos battery isn't loose. If it's loose, then that's the reason why it's beeping.
@@BlueSparkzVideos ohh ok
Mine started after removing a ram from the slot. Thank you.
