Here I am, watching this video and listening to the wonderful song, I am awfully disturbed when thinking about how few followers/ subscribers Eddie has on TH-cam 😳😒🥺! Hope, Eddie and all her fellow artists will receive more appreciation in the future, because they all deserve it so very much 🤗😍🥰😘!
Amazing. Just Amazing. I too heard the transatlantic version the other night. I was actually asleep with the tv left on when this amazingly beautiful voice woke me. This is a work of art and nothing short.
a nice video for a lovely song.really enjoyed Eddi and the lads in Ayrshire last week,Dragonflies,Dandeilions,Wild mountainside and Willie Stewart were the highlights for me.
saw Eddi and the band last year in Troon town hall really good, great band, brilliant vocals and great banter between songs. i always love Willie Stuart and Wild Mountainside. Jan loved Charlie is My Darling and John Anderson,we had a great night.
Spellbinding. Went to see her at The Leamington Spa Assembly last week. A special couple of hours she and the chaps gave. Her voice continues to stand up. As tall as ever. Follow My Tears Eddi... Des x.
Been following Eddi since I first saw her, with Fairground Attraction, in 1987. Been following her amazing voice ever since, both solo and with various collections of musicians and collaborators. Her voice is both complex, and yet simple and direct.
Words cant express how talented this lady shes my all time favourite fmale voalist so amazing im in tears writing this that why my writing is a bit squffyxx
Wow, I love Eddi Reader's voice but had never heard this one before. Timeless. I already want "Wild Mountainside" played at my funeral (cheerful, I know, I'm not planning to pop off yet a while) but now I quite fancy this one too. Hmmmm.
Great to see this wonderful song here. Pity about the first half of the introduction. There's 19 seconds missing from the beginning which detracts from what makes it such an amazing work. I heard this song played on the radio and had to find a place to buy it. I'm rarely so taken by a song. There are other great tracks on the album nearly as good.
@lovelywrld Eddi's version appears on her 2009 CD 'Love is the way'. The song is written by Boo Hewerdine and his own version is on the 2008 mini-CD 'Toy shop No.1'
I seen Eddi Reader in the Watergate Kilkenny a few years ago magical,my favorite singer of all time

Is there a better female vocalist to come out of the UK in the last 50 years? Probably not.
