What's really touching about this moment is how it shows that against Jimmy's rebellious attitude towards his family, he also believes that nobody understands him, except for his twin sister. That's the unique aspect about twins, in that they possess that special family bond that is different from other siblings and family members. To start life together at the same time, it really creates a spiritual bond that cannot be severed by anything.
