videos like this make me so grateful that my mom was an “uneducated” entrepreneur who started a business launching small businesses! anyone can start a business, you don’t even need a start up fund if you’re smart. i’m so lucky to have her as for medical reason i’m unable to attend even high school so higher education was out of the question, but i’m starting a business soon and i’m so grateful to not feel like my life is over because i didn’t finish traditional schooling, i feel like i can do anything i want ❤

It’s so upsetting to think that way. I know a lot of successful entrepreneurs that didn’t even go to college. We should never judge people for their lack of college/university education because they might be way smarter than we think! Thanks Dhar Mann for the amazing inspirational videos, as you say “We’re not just telling stories, we’re changing lives”.
Well college is still something that people should go to if it is financially available, it is great for getting better at the specific things you want to study, as in if she could she could have gone to culinary school

The lady in the video for example, she was poor growing up, but that didn’t stop her to fight for her dream of having her own business. 4:43 this is wrong with this society nowadays. People who did not graduate college are assumed as incapable, immature, and unprepared for professional work. So many employers would require a 4-year degree for jobs that can be done perfectly by people who did not even graduate high school, but I never knew that even banks would have this kind of mentality that a person who does not have a 4-year college degree doesn't know how to run a business. This mentality causes disqualification of competent and capable people from jobs or bank loans.
So many billionaires like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or Mark Zuckerberg do not graduate college, so other people who did not graduate college could definitely have the capacity to do things, and research shows no difference between college graduates and non-college graduates in terms of maturity and capacity to do middle-skilled jobs.

People use to look at me and correct me kind of in a mean way. But your video taught me to not be ashamed and love myself for who I am.
