how do you see the percentages in your skill tree?
This has got to be the best break down of a Necromancers skill tree, helped a lot during my leveling because I found myself at a plateau for the amount of burst I could perform on bosses and regular trash mobs. Thank you!
Something to note is that once you have the splintering aspect you can swap bone spears upgrade to the bonus crit one since it'll still apply vuln from the aspect.

Lol I’m personally not happy playing necro atm I’m hoping end game is better the pets are nearly worthless I cannot keep enough essence to keep bone spear going no movement! Ugh if I wasn’t already 40 I’d just start another now but ima finish it, gonna try this build though see if it changes my feelings bout necro

@@leeroyjenkins9992 consider respec or adjusting your playstyle then, there are plenty of ways to regenerate essence. Basic skills regenerate and with grim harvest you can use corpse explosion to regen essence as well. If by pets you mean the skeletons they need to be upgraded with the relevant passive skills otherwise they'll be too weak.

Well done. I gave you some criticism for another one of your builds that i watched. You fixed the points that I harped on, got corpse tendrils made a pretty viable build not dependent on gear. Good build.

bosses are slow to kill
After I switched my skills to this build I found a sick helmet! When I toss a bone spear it creates a wake that causes secondary explosions. It is so ridiculous, especially when using it on enemies that put up the projectile slowing barriers.

I think ppl keep misunderstanding the lucky hit part on talents, you don’t have a 8% chance to spawn a corpse on a boss. The way it works is you have a base lucky hit chance, when your lucky hit procs the lucky hit has a 8% chance to spawn a corpse. I know it’s confusing, I’am not really sure why they did it like that prob just to make more rng rolls on armor!
Changed to this build last night. Changed all my aspects. The dps is good, but the survivability is terrible. I was better with my minion/corpse explosion build.
Maybe i am just not used to it, but i am kind of regretting switching.
Same here, bone storm is a must cast but there is a one minute cd on it, so I find myself casting everything else trying to get a corpse to spawn just to blow it up and cast bone spear / corpse tendrils... I agree on the minion corpse explosion I think I did better with it also.

Keeping the reapers is helpful while leveling till you get to the point you can comfortably stand alone
How do you generate corpse without them?

@@amadei2 there's a passive you pickup that will generate one corpse when you attack every 7 seconds or so...
I really want to know , do the weapon we have equipped deals damage when close (melee) to the ennemies while using bone spear ? Or only bone spear deals damage ?
Tendrils + Corpse explosion is my fav so far but its not as great against bosses. That’s where the bone spear comes in. Reaper skellies and spamming left click while kiting to regen essence for more bone spears
i really dont like the skeleton army, they are annoying as hell to me, so such a nice sacrifice build seems really perfect, cant wait to try it

World tier 2 Necro here, nearly level 30 havent died once thanks to my skeletal mages/warriors paired with blood mist, corpse explosion, haemorrhage skill, decrepify, and the skeletal slice skill!
First time playing this game and having a blast so far! Might change build wants things get sweaty lol

This build is fantastic. At first it was very rough because I wasnt used to how it plays and did not have enough essence but I just took off the one that makes it cost more. If you are reading this try this build and use it for a while, you will most likely like it. Just takes time to get used to but definitely works very well.
Which ability did you take off because I’m having a lot of problems when it comes to essence even with the aspects.
@@Zinc45 i imagine the one in the core tree that ups essence usage for increased damage

hey I just tried this build out and it's just amazing i AoE situations.. but I'm struggling against singletarget. I just find myself autoattacking to get my essence up, the consuming it on 2 bone spears. am i doing something wrong?

I just started and I've used to legendary scythe with life steal seems to be the only way to keep my health up? Also can u take that perk off and put it on other weapons ?

Hoi! Great build :) any comment on 2hand sword vs 1hand sword+focus? Most guides favour 2hand sword. Is the attack speed faster for bone spear with 1hand setup?
You want a two-handed sword since it gives critical hit chance and/or critical hit damage which is essential for this build to work. Coming from someone who mains this build :)
Say you have bone spear maxed. Does gear with +1 bone spear increase the damage( or whatever the skill is used for)?
You can switch to paranornal bone spear for higher damage since splintering aspect does the same effect as the other enhancing option but even better
I think he's aware. The point is ensuring vulnerable is up.

Works well with lots of corpses, less corpses the worse it works. Overall it's a sorcerer build on a necro.

Man I’be been using your bone spear build on mobylitics for the past couple weeks. I am having great success with damage output but I am being killed a lot WT4 at lvl 71. Idk what I need to work on or focus on to where I can tank better while not sacrificing damage
Lets talk about the leg power can be put on leg focous the bone spear primary attack hit beyond the first vulnerable for 2.1 secs, bone spear shards from bone spear does 80 percent blnous damage to vulnerable enimes and peirce them. Thats a huge espec power.

First Diablo game - played necro. Enjoying it, found it a TAD boring in the beginning but loving the story and know that once I get more abilities it’ll get more fun. Def gunna do a separate sorc build as well tho

Might be a stupid question. But how do you use your main hand weapon? Like how to use it to get those damage numbers? Say your two handed sword has 569 damage. How do you swing it to get that damage per?
Just do what i do and do a 50/50 have bone skills and minions. I sacrificed my golum as 30% is huge and keep my mages and skellys and do a very similar build just put a few more points into my skellys health and dmg.
Once you get to WT3 you’ll get rid of those useless skeletons

I’ve got three legendaries that boost my blood necromancer highly-one does shadow damage in most form and doesn’t slow me down-2 my blood surge procs and extra time for no additional cost-3 boosts my blood damage
Lol thats what im running on my armor lol im wondering if theres anymore cuz i prefer blood skills over bone
Gloves that have an aspect that procs two additional blood waves for less damage but if overpowered it's op
Good Build. I only play Hardcore and Blood Mist is Mandatory.
Reaper skeletons and Iron golem who stuns and makes vulnerable is great leveling until you’re at max level. Then go full sacrifice.

How do you get the materials to imprint the aspects on your weapons/jewelry? It says salvage legendary items, I salvaged about 10 orange items so far and have yet to get any of those materials. Am I doing something wrong?
Dont salvage them, you need to go to the like purple triangle thingy in kyovo and then within the options provided by the "seller" when scrolling it there is one that lets you extract the aspect and destroys the weapon
Love the guide but have one question...say you max out bone spear skill...then find a weapon increasing bone skill by one...does this cause the skill to become stronger or is there no effect due to it being maxed. Does this mean you can remove a skill point from said skill and make it 3 out of 4 but the affix on the gear piece brings it back up to 4 thus allowing you to place skill point elsewhere?

I’m about lvl 32, and have pretty much your exact build. Sacrificed minions, critical chance and vulnerability with bone. Somehow though, I struggle with survivability. Without blood orbs, I find myself chugging potions faster than I can get them to drop to replenish. Tier 2 as well. Specifically on a stronghold mission where I just couldn’t out damage the damage I was receiving.
You strugled becouse you not used skeletons.with skeletons and golem 3 times bettet then this build.

This guide does not have the nerfs which were put in before this video was posted. Essence gen is now a bit struggling. Looking for better builds
Got a sacred unique helm with "Bone Spear leaves behind echoes as it travels that explode, dealing ... damage" absolutely wrecks
On my weapon 2h scythe "Bone Storm consumes up to 8 Corpses to increase its duration by up to ... seconds" paired with defensive aspect on chest "Each time that Bone Storm damages an enemy, gain a barrier equal to ...% of your base life for 10 seconds"
This turns my necromancer into an absolute tank
Try finding the aspect that gives you more damage while u have barrier up i found one that increases it by 32%
Even tho it got a nerf im still having an easy time getting through the game 🔥🔥
Why not go for drcompose? To spawn more corpses? The basic bone skill seem pretty wastfull? Asking bc I use your build

So am I wasting a spot on the Melee Scythe? Because I have it fully upgraded. I just feel like I have to have a melee weapon for when the essence is empty, is that a mistake? Only Lvl 29 but mostly from side quests and live events. Only on act 2 primary campaign.
