- First time the track has been open while I was there. Fun and forgiving even for beginners. Sounds like my bike still has some issues with the countershaft bearing. Probably an upcoming project.

Great job. Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching
60 year old rider, former racer here. No cardio that you can do matches the dirt bike IMO. Looks like a fun track, and great for beginners with it dry like it was. I was just in Dahlonega for work a couple months ago, and picked up my new bike in Marietta when I was there.
As my friend says, “best bang for your buck”. If you’re more of a track guy, look up off-road adventures of Durhamtown. Most are too gnarly for me.
That’s like the perfect track for me .. 49 and just getting back into Mx after 25 yrs away… you have any recs for other similar tracks like this in GA. But not Durham town.
what is that weird scraping sound?
I replaced the chain and sprockets because they had some time on them but the noise didn’t go away, in fact it got worse. Originally thinking it may be the countershaft bearing I started some snooping around and it turns out that the bottom chain roller is metal (aftermarket upgrade) and the chain rolling over it makes that awful grinding sound. I will be replacing it with the stock roller.
