I have had the Monogram kit for many years, but delayed building it while waiting for a better one. This ICM is just what I deeded to sell my Monogram kit. ICM is tops when it comes to quality of the kit as well as instructions, boxing, etc. What A pleasure building a kit with little or no issues to fix in order to fit part.
That was a grest review, I would get the kit ONLY if I could sneak it into my stash without my wife finding out, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
I like it. I mostly like to build things that actually fly. But I'd also like to get back into collecting and building these types of modeling kits as well. I need a good place to display them. I love the careful work and detail people put into them.
I'm building the B26C Invader with ground crew figures from the same brand and it's not bad at all. I have the impression that on this model, we are still a notch above. It makes you want !
Another cracking kit from ICM. They are working hard to knock Tamiya off the top spot and following your interview, they are going the right way about it and all the signals seem to be that they will only get ever better as they grow. Well done ICM!
I made the mistake yesterday of giving my 7 and nearly (her words) 10 year olds a say in what I build next. They both voted for an SU-27 for the competition. Thus, everything else I fancy is on hold. Well, technically on hold. I'm really slow these days, so I might not even finish the Lancaster in time. I do like the look of the kit. Plus, it's a Ukrainian company, so that earns extra bonus points, as does the ICM logo. Decisions decisions 😂❤😂
Alex you mentioned the ICM clear parts were very clear. I've just watched Fenris review and build a Hobbyboss Corsair, and the canopy looked pretty good too :)
Well, another great video. Can I (humbly) suggest an appropriate background (perhaps grey with fine mid red dots) to show clear parts and subdued oblique spot lighting to show wing detail, which was very hard to see? Transparent fuselage halves would raise modelling to a new and very sophisticated high. I think all of us who saw your ICM video, and are so inclined are now ICM fanboys to some degree. Keep up the great work!
I love what I see in the box, Alex. But I am waiting for ICM’s Flak Bait version, which has been announced. I have been wanting to build a Flak Bait model since reading about the aircraft’s history some years ago. 🙂
What do you think of the ICM B/26B Marauder in 1/48th scale? Is it something you'll be looking at getting yourself? Let me know in the comments below!

I just recieved mine yesterday, it is indeed a very excellent looking model kit.

Ordered it yesterday! Cannot wait to build it.

I most definitely will be getting this model😊
Cool model and review. 🛩
Thanks!

My lighting is already diffused, and unfortunately "subdued" doesn't work on video....but I'll have a think about it and see what I can come up with!

Yeah I'll be looking forward to that one too! I think doing a standard one and a "shot up" flak bait would be cool....
@@MannsModelMoments ☺️👍🏻
I will wait for RAF Marauder Mk. III version, hopefully the SAAF 30 Sq. decals will be included with the kit.
ICM kits are top notch.
I hope they do this in 1/72....I'd like to do at least 2. Plus I'm buying the Kozak-2 next!
The Kozak-2 is a great kit, enjoy!
“Big hairy bird” flew from a base just round the corner from me, so will definitely be having a crack at that scheme.
I'd prefer it with a solid nose version with the 8 M2 .50 cal machine guns and the 4 M2. 50 cal gunpacks onthe fuselage
Monogram did a B-26B in 1978.
And that is relevant because?
why are so many new kits SO expensive?...this kind of pricing scares off the kids thinking about modeling!
