This was by far my most favorite video ever! It is really special to get to see you two interact and also see how fun you are together. Thanks for sharing.
Loved this podcast so fun , enjoyed the interaction of you both and the pictures of all the National Parks , did you know they have a National Park game ? I bet you both would enjoy it. Thanks for your travel videos , 🤩🤩🗻🏕🏜🏝🏞🏟🧭 I live in Ohio and my LYS is Rivercolors hope you get to go there .
If you find yourself wanting a camper take a look at teardrops. They're super light, compact and mobile. It is how we go weekend camping and cross country road trips. And it still feels like camping.
I live in Utah and was bummed I missed meeting you when you came to Petit Fours and Purls, so I hope you do get to come back at some point! I agree that there is so much to see and do here, and it is a really beautiful state with diverse landscapes! Thanks for the fun Q&A!
Way to go with pronouncing Nevada like we Nevadans do, Kent! :) born and raised here - loved and lived in Reno for 15 years! Such a wonderful place and I miss Jimmy Beans Wool now that I live back down in southern Nevada.
I think it's so funny that you said you have liked Salt Lake City unexpectedly lol! My husband and I went on a month long cross country road trip from MD to Death Valley about 2 years ago now and we had the SAME experience!! We were mesmerized by the people and the culture there that we ended up staying there the longest out of all the towns/cities we visited on our trip!
@@camillewinnie27 It's such an awesome and clean city! Lol I gotta ask how do they make downtown smell so good! We went to the area by the capitol building and swear it smelled like candy, they gotta be pumping aromas around lol!
I love all your videos. You two are so great together, and both do a fantastic job of sharing all the places, yarn shops, yarn dyers, and the animals too. It is wonderful how you are supporting all the businesses related to the joy and knitting and crocheting. Thank you.❤
Love this Q+A with both of you! (Yes to more, pls!) As always, thx for taking us along on this journey. Through your lens I’ve seen parts of the US I’ve never seen in person and probably won’t! I appreciate you both and what you do.
Friend works for NPS .. It’s called the National Park “Service “ , she says the NPS is being forced ( either a local group doesn’t have the funds or management ability or staff ) to manage a lot of sites that you would think of as not a National Park . For instance , St Louis arch , John Adam’s home in Quincy ; the White House , Independence Mall in Philadelphia some are very small monuments , small waterfall in Patterson NJ … etc … So the NPS is more like a “Trust” to preserve and manage these sites . Not just vast amounts of land . Don’t underestimate the value of Bureau of Land Management as well .
Utah would love to have you come visit again! We have some awesome hikes and more national parks and some great state parks. I bet you guys would love Goblin Valley State Park if you didn’t visit it while you were here. I also really liked Capitol Reef, hiking through the slot canyons is really cool but if you hear thunder or smell rain, flash floods are no joke, so don’t leave the van in a “wash” (flat zone in a low area)
I’m from Salt Lake. Love to hear that it was one of your favorite places. I think it’s pretty awesome but you could say I am biased. I think people are pleasantly surprised when they come here. It’s different than they expect. And southern Utah certainly is beautiful!
You two are adorable and thank you so much for the wonderful videos, I really enjoy watching it all and still have a lot more to go. Safe travels to you.
I really enjoyed this Q&A. Visiting all these states has been awesome for people that will never get the opportunity in real life! Thank you for all the amazing scenery and travel videos which have been awesome ( and the yarn stores have been impressive too!)
Yay for the donkeys in Oatman!! As soon as I heard the favorite critter question the Oatman donkeys 🫏 popped right into my head! Thanks for a cute Q&A. I hope you’re enjoying your Europe trip!!
So fun! I love this. I have an RV and travel in the summers, from California to Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin mainly. I see all my family and friends that don’t live near me. I’m ready to start seeing some national parks now! Thank you.
If you have more than 1 yarn from a state, you could make that state multiple colors, using the 3 or 4 different yarns. A state doesn't haven't to be just 1 yarn color.
loved hearing about your many adventures. Is there more yarn store video that haven’t been uploaded? It’s great to watch both you & Kent. Do some more Q&A’s.
This is a super late comment, but I just got caught up! So happy you had fun in New Mexico, we can’t wait to see y’all again and we had a blast hanging out with you both!
As someone with small kids I can’t do many fun adventures at the moment. I’ve loved watching your adventure! Getting to see so many different places and yarn shops has been so much fun! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! If you’re looking for fun yarn events in Oklahoma July is fiber Christmas in July in kellyville Oklahoma. And the first annual Oklahoma yarn crawl will take place over 2 weekends in August!
This was so nice!! I got the pair of socks I'm working on out to knit while we "chatted". It was really cute to see the two of you interact more, Kent is much more a behind the scenes guy and when you're together the banter is SO fun (I actually laughed out loud and giggled at so many of your back-and-forths - "we're only in our early thirties - well, mid" "dang" (with a crit 20 damage LOL)). It was also great to learn more about you two and the lifestyle you're living now; a little note, idk, feel free to completely ignore me, but: the profile picture of Natalie looks lovely, don't get me wrong, but it's from a few years ago and lately you've looked absolutely gorgeous, truly radiant - it'd be a great moment to get a new pfp? Again, I know you definitely do not need to listen to me and this is in no way shape or form a criticism to what you looked like, but you're even more beautiful nowadays than you were in the current pic
Hi guys. I apologize in advance if this has been answered but you mentioned camping grounds and then Walmart, when you aren’t parking in a camp ground overnight where do you park overnight? Do you park in box store parking lots? Is that allowed? I love the idea of the freedom and memories you are creating You need to come to New England. Diane from Boston
Interesting about the meals, and some good ideas. I’m about to lose my kitchen for three to four months for renovations. Microwave, instant pot, bbq and camping stove will be my options!!
Such a lovely video! A small side note: I hear in few videos that Junior Ranger is supposed for kids and that always reminds me how here people are referring knitting as supposed for after retirement
That was SO much fun ! Thank you both for sharing all that info ! What earplugs do you use ? What pod casts do u find to listen to prepare for the spot you are visiting ? And does Kent have a favorite system he uses to map out routes or where to stop ? Ty !
There is a new yarn store opening in Bentonville, AR in late July. Hope you can find your way back to Arkansas. My favorite college stadium is Ohio State as well.
Buckeye State girl loves that you enjoyed our stadium. We have spent a lot of times tailgating right there and catching the games. You two just bring a smile to my face. It’s great to see you both enjoying the adventure. This (like all videos) are just wonderful. I hope you meet Lindsay from Fiber Seed at a show if you make it to one in Ohio. Enjoy your vacation. Stay safe.
I live in utah and there is so much to see! I feel like I have only seen parts of it I can understand why you would want to come back here. I would also love to visit redwoods again been there once. Love the pokemon hat. I am working on a musselburgh hat too. ❤
I really enjoyed the Q&A. You two make a great team! Instant mashed potatoes always remind me of trailer camping with my family of origin. I love southern Utah, too. Haven’t been to New Mexico yet, but am looking forward to going there in our Sprinter camper. ~Brenda
Did you mention whether you’ll be going to Alaska? I’m asking because you definitely would be going through my town in Northern BC , Canada on your way there. (expect about a 4 day drive if you do).
Thanks for bringing so much of your true selves to this. Hope you do get up to Canada. We are 3 hours north of Seattle and there are more dairy cows in Chilliwack than people (lots of calves). I’d like to see a bit of road trip planning from one state to the next. Also more day in the life. We are starting to dream of our own road trip and my go to Utah next spring with a rented van. Happy knitting 🧶
You two are so adorable! Thank you for sharing this Q&A and your adventures. I do have one question which is how Or why did you decide to do this adventure? 😊 Yes come back to Washington, would love to meet you two.
That's so cool how many states you have visited and plan to visit. The blankets you are making with all the yarns you get from each state are both awesome! Please when you make the lion brand "USA All the Way" blanket can you make Washington the "Evergreen State" in a green yarn color if possible? The one they show from Lion brand makes it brown but my state has tons of greenery and lots of forestery. Love your videos and your yarn-traveling journey. 😀
I was looking at your map of where you’ve been and thought that you are really missing out on seeing the Midwest at its best. I’d recommend going to Michigan, Wisconsin, & Minnesota during the summer or early fall. It’s gorgeous and well worth your while. Don’t miss Tahquamenon Falls (sp?) in the U.P.!
#Question. How many miles have you put on the van so far? BTW if you ever build a custom van in the future, Nikki Delventhal on TH-cam has a really cool shower set-up. She travels full time with her two dogs, and didn’t want to dedicate space to a full bathroom. No plumbing for her toilet, either, but offhand I can’t remember what type she has.
You are so right about not wanting Kent to knit. It would definitely turn your lovely hobby/job into a competition. I really enjoyed this video and vote "Yes" to more including Kent.
TH-cam and paid sponsorships is a small portion. I also have a Membership where we have a big community, events, and make-alongs. I design a little bit, hoping to start more! And affiliate sales with yarn dyers. Those are the main things 😁

This was by far my most favorite video ever! It is really special to get to see you two interact and also see how fun you are together. Thanks for sharing.
Kent you are a STAR !
Your planning and editing is on the spot 👍👍👍
I'm a born and raised New Mexican, so glad to hear you enjoyed our state!!

Thanks for your travel videos , 🤩🤩🗻🏕🏜🏝🏞🏟🧭 I live in Ohio and my LYS is Rivercolors hope you get to go there .
I loved this SO much! More like this please. You're both so endearing. Can't wait for more.

Hey! I’m from St. Louis MO. 😂
I never thought of downtown St. Louis area a park, let alone national park. Love seeing your travels ❤
Yay Kent! Loved having you guys in NM! Often it is forgotten, but is a GREAT place!
You 2 are off to a great start. Enjoy your journey. I always enjoy seeing you both.
My friend showed me someone made a blanket using Nancy Bates national parks hats as squares. That woukd be a really cool blanket for Kent

I’d love to see a video of Kent learning to knit.
There is a new yarn store opening in Bentonville, AR in late July. Hope you can find your way back to Arkansas. My favorite college stadium is Ohio State as well.
I really enjoyed this. It's great hearing from both of you.
I loved hearing from you both. Great episode. I think Kent should do a hockey video when you come to MN 🏒🎉

Hey there! What's the rice cooker you like?
I loved this! You two are adorable 😊
If you come to Minnesota, you should go to Rocking Horse Farm Knitshop
Loved this. Yall are just so dang cute.
Yes, spend more time out here in Utah!!
Haha yes I love it there!
Yes please visit Canada!! Great video!
How will you do Hawaii and Puerto Rico or have you decided only the continental US?
Ditto on the Utah!!
Very sweet video!
😂 Kent says Nevada with a Minnesota accent 😂
So what happened to your factor meals 🤔
Can’t believe it’s come up to wear since you started travelling but I’ve enjoyed it so far and love it when Kent joins you on camera 😊😊😊
You are so right about not wanting Kent to knit. It would definitely turn your lovely hobby/job into a competition. I really enjoyed this video and vote "Yes" to more including Kent.
Where does all the money come from? Your your tube business?
TH-cam and paid sponsorships is a small portion. I also have a Membership where we have a big community, events, and make-alongs. I design a little bit, hoping to start more! And affiliate sales with yarn dyers. Those are the main things 😁
Kent- Horde or Alliance? Retail or Classic? Inquiring minds want to know! :)
If you end up in NYC?! 🤩🎉
Come back 😊😊
Personally, I’d like to see Kent juggle knitting needles on a video.
hahahaha
Have you guys been keeping track of all the miles you’re driving? 🚐
Just on the odometer in the van! Over 40,000 now
You two are so adorable! Thank you for sharing this Q&A and your adventures.
I do have one question which is how Or why did you decide to do this adventure? 😊
Yes come back to Washington, would love to meet you two.
