I don't understand why you're changing s1 cape 44% +10 to a b1 50%, instead of just upgrading the +10 one. You might have gotten it to +11/12, and if not, you could have just replaced it, simple as that.
If I spin on my current one and reset it, it could take weeks to get it back to +10. Plus, I don't plan to just stop at +12 long-term, so I don't want to take the 44% cape to +12, incrust it more, and then replace it when it's even more expensive to do so.
@@KenKime Well that's where I'm at right now - everything is +10 or +11, so this is the first item to go to +12. And I want to do this as soon as possible because this item gives more stats than any other non-Sidraga item, so having it stuck at silver 1 is a big loss.

@@paulson79pl Yeah there's a lot of good things about it for sure. Even if you find it ends up being too grindy, the early game offers a lot of quests with pretty interesting story and worldbuilding, and I think it's worth playing for a couple weeks just to experience that. It is a p2w game though. There is a premium membership which gives some advantages like increased inventory space, additional xp gain, and additional tactics in combat. IMO that's fine - I see it as a membership fee and non-premium as a free trial, not a big deal. The p2w comes into play mostly with the player market though. There are two currencies in the game - gold, which is earned in-game from bosses and activities, and platinum, which is gained by paying for it with real money. And platinum can be traded to other players. So players who buy more platinum can buy more stuff from other players, and become stronger faster. Of course, you don't have to - you can just progress at a slower rate, and you can sell things to other players to earn platinum. There are some free to play players who've been very lucky with dropping good items and selling them. But if you don't have top 1% luck, you just have to accept that you'll progress much more slowly than people paying more than you. In theory, there is a progression cap, or at least a soft cap, so you'll catch up eventually. However in practice it would take 10+ years to reach if you're free to play, at which point the game probably has new content and systems that increase the time it takes to max out. Personally I don't hate that the game is p2w, but I do think the amount of time required to max out a character has become a little absurd, and it makes the p2w elements worse.

Just leave it how it is for now and later swap to better stars when you will upgrade rest of your equiepment to 11-12@@fixedranks
