To the commentator, it is "champing" not "chomping", as the saying is "champing at the bit" or to fret nervously, as horses do when they want to start a race.

I always say chomping at the bit, and I've never heard anyone say champing at the bit.

@AndrewUnderwood-pl1ur. Both are acceptable. And have been for many years. Champing is the purest form of use. Also it comes from the Old French word champer, which means to bite. and has really nothing to do with racing as its what all horses do.

Can't remember a better women's rugby match. A shame one side had to lose.

      @@JaemanEdwards : it certainly ranked high for a 15 vs 14 encounter.

      15 v 15 players for 17min
      14 v 14 players for 10 min
      15 v 14 players for 53 min.
And the GOAT Portia Woodman who was taken out of the game is worth two england players.
      Looks fairly even to me.

@@indricotherium4802 I'm also a fan of the mighty Red Roses.
My favourites are, Holly Aitchison, Jess Breach, and Abby Dow from the backs.
Sarah Bern, Sadia Kabeya, and Alex Mathews from the forwards
