Hey Guys,
Another classic case of refs not doing their jobs.
What story from the vid is the most frustrating to you guys?
Are there any other Bad Calls that make you guys mad that aren't in the video?
Thought nd Opinions?
-M I K E
Im a Knicks fan and I kinda don’t feel good about getting cheated but this was one of the few playoff runs we’ve ever had lol
Mike Korzemba i dont know if you remember the specific play but the play where dame lillard made his shot vs Houston, i think it was dwight howard who pushed either robin Lopez or lamarcus aldridge to get a offensive rebound/ putback. If dame hadn’t pulled out his magic, Portland would have had to go back to Houston for game 7, potentially robbing the trailblazers of a 2nd round appearance
Mike Korzemba I like Duke to I saw it on your shirt I am sad they couldn’t go to the tournament due to sickness March madness more like march sadness
Mike Korzemba are you actually goin to look at my vid idea?
Hey Mike no3 is not a bad callnis just the rules were bad
i almost threw a candle through my tv after they reversed that call on lebron. and after jr did that bullshit i instantly went outside and smoked a bowl.
Same. I'm not even a Cavs fan but that shit infuriated me cause they kept missing calls.
I was pissed off bro he forgot to add if they win that game 1 lebron doesn’t go into OT and break his hand in locker room over how mad he was at JR
Why tf a candle?? 😂
Even if the cavs did get one game the warriors would of still anyways so that one call doesn’t change anything
Jamar Howe bro your missing the whole the point I’m not saying cavs go on and win.... you telling if lebron wins game 1 against that stacked team the amount of more respect he already has would sky rocket he scored 51 in a finals game with his second best player being jordan Clarkson and Kevin love when he wasn’t always getting hurt cuz he carried them there without him
Y’all remember when mike made a vid like this and Kareem said I like to get paid 😂😂😂
Not Gay One of the greatest quotes of all time 😂😂😂

MadMan205 pretty sure it’s this th-cam.com/video/44a1wQ2O1t8/w-d-xo.html
What about that time Kevin Durant was clearly out of bounds against the Rockets and the refs didn't call it LMAO
slayer g jeez you mad
@@yakkk4778 chill, bud.
He made a video like this before where he mentioned it.
slayer g Jesus man it ain’t that serious
Deadass I remember laughing at how dumb of that missed call was
Great video! That whole 2007 Suns/Spurs series was a joke, there were so many phantom calls against the Suns and they Spurs were allowed to mug them on the other end. It was reffed by Tim Donaghy who went to jail for fixing games and he admitted that one of the other refs had a disdain for Suns owner Robert Sarver. That was the worst series I've ever seen (but I didn't watch the early 2000's Lakers/Kings series, I hear that one is epically bad as well).
Trust me, as a Kings fan, that series was the worst i have ever seen.
The Suns were a joke. Those overrated losers deserved to lose.

Wat u talking bout
11:11 what many forget about that call is that on the floor it was called a charge, but, after video review, the call was overturned. To go along with that, George Hill was called for fouls on multiple clean strips of Kevin Durant. It was just a poorly officiated game, resulting in a horrible ending for the Cavs.
i remember the blatant bias for the warriors shown this entire game
@@aquz2907 😂😂😂
Omg yeo just thinking about that game infuriates me. Lebron deserved that game so much, literally everything that could've went wrong did

Yes it made the nets more tired after
A warriors stepped over the line when George hill was shooting the free throw
People always do that though. Obviously it still goes against the rule, but there are plenty of times the refs haven't called it.
Cavs still got rebound but then jr Smith happened
Still won

with the 2018 finals too u forgot to mention it was originally called a charge and they reviewed it (which this type of call is supposed to be unreviewable anyway)and reversed the call

You forgot MJ’s push off against Bryon Russell and the Utah Jazz that wasn’t called in 1998.
Everyone keeps forgetting about that
The kick to Stockton the yr before
OMG that KD play woulda for sure changed history Mike! The Cavs definitely would have won 3 more games if they got that call right and won the game. They never would've gotten swept like they did
That Lillard shot might be the best commentating in nba history(or the block/steph bang)
In the same game one curry and draymond had both crossed the ft lane when george hill was shooting his fts
How could Curry cross the line he wasn’t even at?
@@malikjames9035 he was not supposed to cross the 3 pt line but his foot was over it before he shot the ball
In the Nba they dont pay attention to that as long as u not standing under the rim the dont care
@@malikjames9035 he wrote this like he had a stroke but yeah there were violations lol
I was gonna bring This up but at least someone else already knew
In 2018 in the nba finals when George hill missed the free throw draymond green was in the paint and Stephen curry was in the three point line so George hill should have had 1 more free throw
MrOwl Nub or he shouldn’t have missed
Chris Naylor it doesn’t matter that he missed he still should have had one more free throw
Chris Naylor stop defending the warriors he should’ve had one more free throw
None of the first four that came to my mind were even mentioned! Clippers vs Thunder Game 5 in 2014, Famous Lakers vs Kings WCF, Dallas vs Heat the first time around and the foul called on Scottie Pippen in 93-94 Game 5 vs Knicks. All of those, imo, impacted who went to the finals or who'd have won the finals. So very disappointed none of them were mentioned
Big Facts on that okc vs clippers a lot of bogus ass calls against the clippers
Oh no mavs losing in 06 to cheating refs? Gotcha I’m out lol
What a phenomenal video. I forgot about most of this. Thanks for posting

That Larry Johnson and 1 was absolutely a foul. You have to give the shooter a place to land.
john Carlos he literally slapped dudes arm too if anything it was a foul before the shot
@@ADCRAZY33 facts
Yes. I mean, it was the correct call. I don't do the whole 'it was harsh/let the players play' nonsense.
That was a beautiful and one....he was fouled on the gather
It’s funny how u don’t get a suspension for body checking someone but u get suspended for stepping on the court
The call was right for gods sake...lebron was clearly dragging his foot therefore proving that his feet weren't set. Yall are just salty.
You could complete this list with the warriors in 2017 and 2018
Why do y’all forget the sins had a 20 point lead and the spurs came back and won
I was staying at a mates place and the Hornets Baron game winner was going to be on tv for some reason at like 4am. We were both like “we’ll stay up to watch it” we both fell asleep and woke up to see the Baron Davis controversy 🤦♂️🤦♂️
0:13 tf this gotta do with history
"As you are watching on your screen right now, here are times where bad calls have cost teams regular season games"
Because if the call was made, the player was going to get super angry and drop 50 that game. He would end up carrying that anger with him for the rest of the season and average 41.2 ppg for the rest of his career after that game. He would have ended up being considered a top 5 player in NBA history by the time he retired. All because of that one call.
Malachi I’m doing my school work and I had the video muted
MikeEdits who asked?
Helmie why you reply?
I thought for sure you’d mention the 5 point swing the Jazz didn’t get on a Howard Eisley 3 that should have counted and a Ron Harper 2 that did count when it shouldn’t have. If you’re unfamiliar with it, rewatch game 6 of the Jazz Bulls in 1998. Yeah...that game.
What about that Draymond 3 that was ruled a two in G6 in last year’s finals 🤦🏽♂️

Seven voices that can change the course of nba history:
1.Mike Korzemba
2018 game 1 also had more very terrible calls favoring Golden State, that game was rigged

Dude i feel like sleepin so badddd. But when i saw a notification with Mike's name in it, I CLICC
A big one that no one remembers: game 6 of the 98 Finals, when the Bulls got their last ring. The refs took away a 3 pointer by Howard Eisley calling it a shot clock violation, but he shot before the clock expired. Then, Ron Harper hit a 2 pointer that should’ve been a shotclock violation, but the refs counted it. 5 points in favor of the Bulls in a 1 point game victory.
What about the 2017 conference final, rockets vs Golden state game 7, where the refs were blowing bad calls and cost the rockets a championship
ASHVINAN SIVASAMBU we had a couple made threes that weren’t counted
Uchenna Ekechi u mean 2018?😭
That's 2018 and the Rockets ultimately lost by double Digits in a Game where they famously had 27 straight missed 3s don't think Refs would change that
who the Fuck is this wasn’t double digits and we had a couple shots not counted. Game was much closer than many remembered
1998 Finals game 6 (Jordan’s last game with the Bull’s). Three consequential calls… all three went in favor of the Bulls. 1- Howard Eisley makes a three pointer (waived off due to shot clock violation when replay shows it was clearly good). 2- Ron Harper hits a 2-pointer (replay shows it should have been a shot clock violation) 3- Jordan’s push off (which everybody knows about) is a questionable no-call.
We Fr Fr take James Harden for Granted He’s already the Best Offensive Players the game ever Seen Scoing/Playmaking but we criticize Him for losing to the best team of all time And Cp3 got injured something out of his control but causal hype Up Kawhi but Harden was more effective More PPG and better than Kd and Curry both in the Playoff Last Season ....... in my opinion he’s top 22 without a ring rn if he retired today
🤦🤦🤦
The ref on the right in the thumbnail corrupted the point spread in a game i was watching on TV. It was obvious to the players. At one point, the camera was on vince carter after a bad call and you could read his lips when he told a player on the other team (with a smile),"He be gambling".
"no views" but 34 likes.
Ok then
Harry Roche nobody cares

No one asked

In the 2018 Finals, Lebron also had a clean strip off of KD late in the 4th that they called a foul.

The baron davis one must really hurt
Please make more what if’s
Great content
Good job MK
Yesss thank you Mike I been talking about that game 1 bad call forever now! I remember that before the JR bs
What If idea: What if instead of Shaq, Dwight Howard joined LeBron and the Cavs?
They could've been the answer LeBron needed to beating the Celtics, and could've led to another big 3 if they add someone else.
Just spit balling a reason for LeBron to not want to leave the Cavs.
You should’ve mentioned when Kawhi Leonard travelled and hit that crazy game winner to seal game 7 of the ECF last year
Cry
All these were bad but that Baron Davis Call was some slimy shit
Mike “that is not an exaggeration” korzemba
Yo mike ur a legend
Love all the Duke gear you wear.
Nitpicking, but the LeBron play was actually called a charge in real time, then changed later after review. That’s really why Jaffray (spelling? the ref guy) said it should have been a charge. In slow mo it could have gone either way, but to change a call after review you need hard evidence that the original call was wrong.
Anyways, great video as always Mike!! Thank you, stay healthy!
TH-cam recommendations real smooth with this one
Mike I have been watching your channel since early 2016. Please make another What If. With no basketball rn it would be the best thing
Game 1 of the 2018 nba finals was a completely underrated competitive game
Very true. Like that T-Shirt DUKE Blue Devil’s NC. 🏀
You conveniently overlooked game 6 of the 1998 finals
Hi four to watch an love your vids
Love you mike
hey mike. for me the biggest one is the game 1 of cavs vs gsw 2015 finals. mosgov shot should have been foul counted not an offensive foul. if they counted this shot. kyrie would have not been injured and they manage to win in the gsw homecourt.this could have been a championship . then the gsw wouldnt have the same confidence as they have might some trades happen. we never know.
This video Is awesome. You should do the same thing but with college because of where people should of maybe got drafted
Speaking of 2002 what about samaki Walkers buzzer beater half time shot that counted when was clearly after the buzzer and gave Lakers 3 extra points in that awesome game 4 against the Kings.
That suspensions for Phoenix were totally wrong!!!!
2002 for an awful year for nba reffing. Every game was rigged.
Let’s have a moment of silence for whoever designed Ewing’s shoes at 3:30
Do a video like this for college basketball please. 2015 Kentucky vs. Wisconsin is the biggest one. Kentucky leading with around 2 minutes left and there was a missed Nigel Hayes shotclock violation that the refs counted. It costed us the game and the only 40-0 season that would've ever been seen.
the larry johnson one is definitely a foul he didn’t have space to land and was hit on his arm before he shot
