Nice video. I’ve always liked the verticals a lot and my new fav thing is the snowflakes. I agree that the candy canes add a lot of dimension to the display so that’s another cool addition. 🎄🎁
What a great video, it is great to be a part of this worldwide production. I must admit I really like the staircase. Jean has alot of great ideas, nice going to both of you. Fantastic video!!!
@andrewburnham438 Absolutely! Feel free to use any of our designs. Also, feel free to send in a video to Christmasoncrestline@gmail.com to enter our annual decoration contest.
Great tip reusing old string lights to make what I also consider to be the best camouflage and least costly extension cords, I started doing that last year but wish I had thought about it long ago. I understand now seeing more of your setup why you suggested pixel displays as it can make things a little more tidy and user friendly. My current setup runs on a very limited Orchestra of Lights box, very limited might be an understatement but it is fun to come up with new designs and layout ideas having constrictions however.... drumroll please..... I ordered some permanent outdoor lighting for the soffits and some pixel curtains both by Govee for my layout this year. I went with Govee because I'm one to like to work smarter not harder as well and if I want to play around with different controllers I know I can make them work and I don't mind voiding a few warranties even though I'll likely save the experimental stuff for after it runs out since these will be my first RBGIC purchases. I'm planning to do a review on the previously mentioned lights and post my display from last year and this year on my channel which is a jumbled mess itself since I don't really know where to start, I don't dabble in just 1 genre (I DIY everything, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry/remodelling, pc builds/repairs, solar, chickens etc) so coming up with a name is difficult..... taking suggestions lol
Very cool, Allen! I"ve got you. How about these names, Creating Adventures Network (The CAN channel) or Engineering, Crafting, and Hobbies (ECHO for short) or maybe Do It All: Skills & Hobbies (DASH for short). Anyway, just some thoughts I had while I read your comment. Thanks again and let me know what you end up going with!
Young man I love to see your traditions
Why thank ya much, Terri! We enjoy having fun and chatting with folks!
😂Glad to see I’m not the only one going gray
I'm here with ya, Terri! We'll stay the course lol.
Nice video. Good idea for the stair case for getting on the roof.
Ahhhh that's a brilliant idea. I would need the outdoor rated lights but that's a great idea.
You're a good man for doing all of this.
Thank ya kindly, Lin. I do enjoy doing this for folks. It's a fun hobby/passion.
Enjoyed this walk-thru Charlie. I really like your vertical light boards.
Glad you enjoyed it, Terry! This is a fun video to do each year.
😂it goes up!
It does indeed lol.

There's a fellow Kansan! Hey there, Scott. I think I'll add more snowflakes next season and a snow machine too!

There's the man of the hour! Thanks again for all of your hard work, Darren!
So I was right a long time ago when I said it's a rolling staircase lol I could definitely use one of them
lol indeed you were. I take it for granted these days. It is just the easiest/best tool we have, next to the LED Keeper that is.
I have a question do you make the snow flakes or do you buy them if so where do you buy them ?
Hey there, Bryce. I bought these. Here is my review on them: th-cam.com/video/cyd7bkCJhJY/w-d-xo.html
I see your 2 × 4 are red blue and green do you half to used them same color lights for the 2 × 4 ??????????
No, you don't. I left them plain for several years. It just looks cooler in the daytime, is all. Plus, it does help prevent rot over time.
Ok thanks I might try them same idea this year with different color lights if that's okay with you ????
For my Christmas lights this year
