This game was ahead of it's time.
It sure was.
Thanks for posting these old videos, it's very interesting and it's making me very nostalgic of that era...
Thanks for posting this. Such excellent games yall made. Best game of all time!
I don't think Ubisoft will make one like this ever again because they can't shove MTX or a service game. The only way a new proper SC will be made is if Ubisoft's editorial team gets shaken up again.
The My Console at the end of the video is an masterpiece choice. :3
It was my old end-of-video song.
@@FrederickGuese Btw i cant help myself, but i feel like the AI in CT can see sometimes through the wall.
Their reactions and stuff are great, but when AI can see a movement through metal sliding door, which i cant do that at all is just absurd.
Otherwise the AI is amazing.
@@jackcravford8744 Replaying MGS3 I noticed that guards will go into caution if you fire at them beforehand when woken up. Suck there are not many AAA Stealth games these days besides Hitman which I do really like. Going to a bush after someone sees you isn't very satisfying.
@@FrederickGuese Currently playing first SC and Chaos Theory, i just cant deal how there is no consistency in the AI. I can jump on the place, hearing no impact of the landing and the guard will be like "what was that", but if i will open doors behind someone, which is making loud noise, NOTHING. AI does not hear it.
The opposite is in Chaos Theory. I can jump near someone, he is not hearing it. If i will open doors, or something, they will hear it. I simply don´t understand the sound detection and i am frustrated.
Excellent game.
That gen had Chaos Theory and MGS3. The two series at their prime. Hitman didn't come fully formed until Blood Money IMHO.
@@FrederickGuese Agreed. Even if I think MGS was the pound-for-pound best experience in the MG series, MGS3 and Chaos Theory were both brilliant games in terms of gameplay and innovation, in particular. Hitman: Blood Money was a later, but similarly brilliant gaming experience.
@@FrederickGuese Hitman Blood Money only came one year later so it was the same gen, even if the game was cross-gen.
But I would disagree with you, Hitman Contracts was a huge step to get to the final form of Hitman, what they did in that game helped Blood Money to become what it is.
@@LuckyBide I can see that.
When ubisoft was in its prime
Can't wait to play it.
I love all the game in this saga SC •:)
and why cant they get the 120 people to build the next splinter cell???
Look at the amount of people on your average Assasin's Creed game. There's your answer. AAA is too big to fail now.
