🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Even without all of its additional history, which is very special itself. Such a car deserves the love, attention, time, expense, effort and tears (and cursing) the two of you were willing to offer. Blessings to both of you to bring back such an exquisite example of the glory we all once knew. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
My Grandpa built Packard engines in Detroit. I always dreamt of having one of his Packards, and just bought one that needs a lot of TLC. I'm really not equipped to restore it, but I'm over the moon that I have this legacy to pass down. I'm so impressed with Mrs. Plaster. Thank goodness she and her husband adopted that beautiful car!
One day in the sixties a neighbor in El Monte drove a Packard into our yard, as he heard dad worked on "all makes". His last name? Mustad (the Norwegian fish hook empire). Rebuilding parts such as the brake master cyl. you take it to a MACHINE SHOP, not a garage! We now have a Packard Caribbean (one of 750 made) in our RV garage.

I know! How the heck? Maybe through the Mississippi and New Orleans, being a port, then on to Buenos Aires by boat! Goods use to travel by boat back then as nowadays!
Better than any of the green Ford Falcons without license plates during the political turmoil of the 1970s. Note the year they bought the car to restore, 1983, the year military rule ended so far for good in Argentina. Note right hand steering. So much British influence in Argentina til the 1950s they drove on the left side of the road.
My 63 Ford Falcon!! was my first car. I don't believe by the 70's the model was even made. We have a 70 big block Oldsmobile that is a better parade car for ladies; chrome handles inside the door so you can "swing" into the seat with a nice dress on.
This car is priceless. I learned to drive in my father's 1937 Packard in the 50's.
Ask the man who owns one. Beautiful restoration!
What an amazing story told by such a lovely lady.
Indeed. 😘
She sounds magnificent, doesn't she?
What a beautiful story ❤️ 🌹⚘️🙏
Una belleza ese Packard... gracias por compartir este video.. saludos desde Argentina.
Thanks…… for commenting….Believe it is a tremendous Historical Artifact!!
What a beautiful story!
They were fortunate to have shared a life together.

How fabulous is this story. So wonderful that A they restored a car of historical significance and B that they did it together.
Beautiful restoration. Lots of hard work to do that. This car deserves More than 3 minutes.
WOW! That Couple, did an Astounding thing, and, even, somehow, stayed Married!! My mind has been boggled..

Did he build the Rolls Royce Merlin aero engines during WW2, many thousands were built by Packard. A lot of which went into the P51 Mustangs.
I guess Juan and Eva had two Packards. The yellow one is at the Peterson Car Museum in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills).
So wonderful! Thank you very much for this! I am very grateful to you!
You're both amazing people ❤️
This car is really majestic, and a good fit for a head of state.
Better than factory original is quiet a testament.🗽👍💕

How did FDR's famous 1939 Packard end up in the Toyota Automobile Museum in Japan??????
Excellence personified , absolute perfection . I personally raise my hat in total respect . .
Packard is a good company
Nice. Too bad you couldn't actually show the car in detail.
Pretty Exotic one,
