An arcade classic with surprisingly sane difficulty. Very few gotcha moments. I'd wager a seasoned gamer could beat the game first time on about $2. It's funny how other than Chief Scalpem, all the bosses are sort of pushovers, then you get to Richard Rose and he just goes NUTS.
Sunset Riders is a bonafide classic hands down. Play the SNES version a lot back in the day and man the soundtrack was ace, colors pop like candy and plus it was fair and challenging. I always pick Cormano because he reminds of Clint's character from the Good the Bad and the Ugly. Thanks for the awesome throwback Al!

Also you finish the game with one of the two characters that have the type of shot that is more difficult to handle, but that I like more, than the burst shot of the other 2 characters. The two levels of bonus you make them perfect. You get to the Indian chief without losing any life, so you have to do it by dodging 4 knives instead of 3. Impeccable, I love this game and I dominate it a lot but this gameplay is second to none. Congratulations.
Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa was kind of a spiritual successor to this game. That being even if it had noting to do with Sunset Riders besides the same gameplay, and what not though.

The first time I whittled richard rose down to no health just for him to pop off that bulletproof armor. That had preteen me throwing the controller after I lost.
In the Smith Bros. fight it is possible to rescue all three girls. While you are at the incibility state after you save one you can jump to the other side and save the other one.

Paco loco is, indeed, a crazy one: his dialogues don't have any sense. First: ¡Ay, Chihuahua! it's like saying, for example 'Oh, California' cuz Chihuahua is a mexican state. And the second statement 'Hasta la bye bye' can be translated as 'See you, or until bye bye'.
