These boats are incredible. I followed you with a rib in Portugal earlier this year and I was so impressed with your angles and speed upwind. Good luck!
I'd really like to hear the story about how the cockpit design developed, it's really interesting and some of the variations look like some of the ideas I had on my own. I'm curious about how the final design was chosen over those.
This is a new boat that we'll be entering into the The Ocean Race 2022-23. We still have the boat from The Ocean Race Europe (the previous Hugo Boss) that will race in the Transat Jacques Vabre in November (co-skippers Simon Fisher and Justine Mettraux) later this year alongside this new IMOCA 60 with Charlie Enright and Pascal Bidégorry.
@@11thhourracingteam83 Was that the 2016 or 2020 Hugo Boss? For some reason I got confused by the news articles around the time of the purchase and thought Malama was the 2020 HB repainted instead of being new.
She’s a beast! Can’t wait to see it foil.......
Feeling very much the same!
More excited than ever. The teams really pushing it to the next level. Love to follow Boris but to see other teams is awesome too.
Thanks, Ben!
What a wonderful privilege. Well done everyone!
Feeling extremely grateful!

Looks sweet.
That said, I was today's years old the first time I saw someone hold a pen like that - @4:30
😂😂😂
I hold a pencil like that when drawing.
Hi guys
So is this different from the boat they used during Ocean Race Europe?

I hate to think of the carbon footprint involved in it's construction...
