I tried her method for the first time last year.. it was bomb but I definitely agree with you, I need to try it a few more times to master the technique. It looked great on you though. The only thing I noticed was that you had less length after the set dried (I noticed the same thing for my hair). I’m wondering if it’s because it’s almost impossible to do the windmill motion while using this method to apply the rods. You slayed as usual though😍
I had the same experience! My curls were so tight and little annie-ish. I feel like I would have to use a larger flexi rod than I normally would even though my hair is only shoulder length
Monay T. Right??? I went back and watched the original video. Curldaze was "windmilling" for her life and she had length...so I definitely need to try a few more times and perfect the technique.. or like you said use a larger rod.

So I would to see you do an update vid on this. I tried this but with twisting at the root like you’re famous for. Twisting it gives you more control and then you wrap one of the two pieces of the twists around the “horseshoe.” Game changing
I've done the horseshoe method a few times now and I love it. It's actually easier to me than doing a regular rod set! @JANAEMASON- second time is the charm! It turned out great on you!

Never used edge control for that but you know what I’m going to give it a try 👌🏾 lol I knew when the black & white filter came in it was ova 😂😂 I instantly started laughing but in the end it came out almost better than hers with that pop of color 🤤💛💛
